“Atmosphere is the only thing that saves this restaurant in my opinion.”

If you do not like fried fish, fried chicken, gfryfried pickles, french fries, fried okra, and I thought if they could figure out how to fry the salad bar they would, then save your money and don't go here.

We had a larger party go for lunch (12). They have a small buffet bar of various fried foods and a limited salad bar. The waitress snapped at the first question asked about the menu pricing and said that not all the prices were right. Some had been changed, but not all the menus had been updated yet. The waitress proceeded to basically ignore that individual's requests for anything the rest of the meal. We joked at first because we thought she didn't hear her request, but when it became obvious she did it was no longer amusing.

If you enjoy over seasoned fried foods this is probably something you would enjoy. If you want to taste what is under the inch of salty batter save your ten bucks and get something elsewhere.

This place has seen many owners over the years. It used to be a decent but over priced place to eat. Now its not even worth it. Everything is over priced and the service isn't very good, especially for breakfast.

“Can I give it a 10????”

What an amazing find! We were on our way home from Hilton Head, and stopped here because of a restaurant.com certificate that I had purchased. This place was a FIND!!! It is located right off of 1-95, but feels like a million miles away! Arrived in time for the buffet that is served on Sunday - everything from delicious made-to-order omelettes, salads, southern sides and a carving table. Best of all were the desserts - their special coconut cream pie, pecan pie, puddings and cakes. Each are put on the dessert table in a variety of sizes, so you can sample everything without waste or feeling like too much of a glutton! The service was warm, welcoming and well-timed - we never felt rushed. And at $12.99 (including bev) - it was a great value! We ate out on the screen-enclosed back porch that overlooks a lake/nature trail. If it hadn't started to rain, we would have taken a walk along the lake before starting our journey home.

“Very good spot for a relaxing and tasty lunch near the interstate.”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

Very good alternative to fast food chains located near Interstates. Very good and affordable buffet; ideal for lunch. Clean and comfortable. Seemed to be family friendly. Seemed to be a frequent lunch spot for local police (I view that as a plus).
