We took advantage of the 20 year anniversary special the Club was having, and what a great experience. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, both in the clubhouse and on the course. Complete professionals.
But as good as they were, the course was even better.
It begins with the drive beneath the live oaks to the clubhouse, breathtaking. And we were ready early, and the starter sent us out prior to our scheduled time.
The course was in great shape, even though it was the last week of February.
The layout was fair but required good shots, and you are rewarded for hitting it straight.
It's not tremendously long, but it's beautiful.

Lots of wildlife, including gators; we saw a 10' gator and several others.

The grounds were a Colonial Plantation, and are extremely well maintained.

I think it's one of the top 3 courses in the area, and we have played more than 40 of them over the past 13 years.

I highly recommend Caledonia.

The menu is very good, the food is very good and the view is outstanding. Consider that this is a golf course and the restaurant over looks the 18th green. But the setting, including the entrance driveway are stunning. It's always been a favorite place to eat even when we weren't playing there because of the setting.

This is the premier course in Myrtle in my opinion. The course was in great shape and the free chowder was a great touch. The issue was the staff. They were grumpy and not very accommodating. We felt like we were putting them out and thy were doing us a favor to pay that much to golf. Too bad, we loved the course.

Just the right place for a casual Sunday lunch after church. Great views of the marsh and golf course. Great service and always a nice casual dining menu. The Po boy sandwiches alone are worth the trip down the beautiful live oak lined drive. One of a kind!
