Certainly can see why this place is ranked #1 in the area. Lived in and around PI for about 3+ years and can't figure out why it took me so long to eat at this place. We had just walked the beach and called in for a table. Despite being a bit under-dressed, we were made to feel quite a home and our head (Zack) and associate waiters did a very fine job of service, keeping the bread basket and water goblets full at all times. Both my wife's and my entrees were amazingly good. I opted for a "paupers" dish served in Italy, but it was full of flavor and texture and mouth-feel just as the waiter described. He also paired it up nicely with a recommendation of their wine by the glass menu. The Montepulciano d'abruzzo handled the hotness of that dish called Nduja.
Note: Quite the memorable wine list for those so inclined.
Dessert: we opted for a mouth cleansing ‘high road’ sorbet of mixed berries and prosecco
