We have been to Litchfield many times with our family, this was the first time my husband and I have been alone. Very relaxing, loved it. We enjoyed the pool, suna and steam. Great location for the beach and bike rentals with a good cycle route to Pawleys Island

Thank you very much for the nice comments on our property! It's great to hear that our staff is helping you feel at home - while you are away from home. Our bike trails in Pawleys Island are a big hit for many. I am happy you and your husband enjoyed some quality time away from the kids and look forward to your next visit.
We're honored to have your continued patronage.

We were in the seaside inn. The room was a normal hotel room with two beds. Nothing special. The bad part was the keys. They had to be keyed over and over again. By the time we left we had about 7 keys. Enjoyed the indoor pool and hammock areas outside. Too cold to enjoy the outdoor pool area, but if it was warm would be great. The exercise room was good and bikes available to rent. Quite a hike to the beach. The weather in march was just awful. Would much more enjoy this place with a bigger room with a balcony (available for more) and at a warmer time of year. Enjoyed the restaurant and bar in Websters and the starbucks each morning. Nice gardens to sit outside. Spa was overpriced. Did not use it.

Room Tip: Spend a little more for the suite rooms.

We have been faithfully using TripAdvisor to book our vacations and we have always been happy with the reviews until today! Either the reviews for this hotel are totally off or we just had a very bad experience today. We checked in at 2:20 pm and were already checking out by 2:25pm.... The room we were given looked like a dumpy motel and the bed was full of bugs! We immediately left the room and the manager quickly refunded our money and apologized but his lack of shock about the bugs made me think this wasn't the first time this has happened!

We sincerely apologize for the bad experience you had at our Resort. It has been so unfortunate for our industry that any bug a guest may see would be perceived as a “bed Bug”. We are extremely proactive with our pest control, and on occasion a bug will appear but lucky for us the bug that was found in your unit was just a small beetle that somehow made its way on your bed. Our Manager on duty went to your unit as soon as you expressed a concern and found the culprit and had all the bedding changed. We have educated our staff over the years to look for bed bugs every single day in our housekeeping services and are happy to report we have had no such incident thus far.
My desire is that you will give our resort a second chance and that you would contact me directly in the future so I can see to your reservation.

This year was our twenty-sixth straight year at Litchfield Beach and Golf Resort. My Dad started the trip in 1987 and have been back every year. His feeling was "if it's not broke - don't fix it", and it's definately not broke. The people there treat us like family, from the hotel staff to housekeeping. This year in particu;lar we planned to meet some friends who live in South Carolins a Websters Grill for a drink at 3:00 p.m., Not knowing that Webster's does not open until 4:00. Rather than turn us away the hostess at Websters opened the tavern for us and personally served us until the staff arrived at 4. The accomidations are great, the golf courses beautiful and the entire staff treats you like family. A special thanks to Sherry and the Golf Department for making our experience so enjoyable.

Room Tip: For golf we have tried several of the choices. We prefer the dairway cottages at Litchfield C.C. Wal...

Thank you for such kind words. To say we treat you like family is exactly what we talk about when training our employees. First and foremost I thank you for 26 years and I agree with your dad...”if it’s not broke why fix It”. I am glad that you enjoyed all areas of our resort service, and I will pass on your kind words to our wonderful staff at Webster.
See you next year,
Sherri

We only stayed for 3 nights, but I sure do wish we could have stayed longer. There is so much to do in this area and the location is perfect. Everything is in walking or biking distance for those that
like to get a little exercise on their vacations. There's a great path in front of the complex that goes all the way to Murrel's Inlet. You can even bike to the Brookgreen Gardens. The grocery store is across the street and the beach is about a 10 minute leisurely walk on a designated pathway. There are bike paths all through the complex and they pass by beautiful marsh areas, lakes, and wonderfully landscaped areas. We stayed in a 1 bedroom at Summerhouse and it was immaculate. We had a large balcony overlooking the lake. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. There was plenty of parking in the complex and there were a lot of bike racks to lock up the bikes. Having the Starbucks right next door was kind of nice. The staff was friendly from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. I really enjoyed staying here and will DEFINITELY be coming back. Maybe we'll try a house at Compass Point next time!

I spent three nights at the resort as part of a work conference. Couldn't have had a better stay. The two bedroom suite was very clean, comfortable and affordable. Great breakfast in the restaurant, good service. Will return for a personal vacation next time.

My husband and I spent 4 days here in February. It was wonderful. We had the breakfast buffet at Webster's every morning - what a great way to start the day. We had dinner at Webster's one of the night's we were there and the food was amazing and the service was wonderful. The resort is beautiful. The oceanfront room we stayed in was great, king sized bed, full kitchen, bath with two toilet rooms ( outstanding feature) and a nice living room with tv, dvd player and balcony over looking the ocean. We rented bicycles and spent and entire day riding around the resort and on the beach. I grew up in FL but had never ridden a bicycle on the beach - it was an amazing experience. The bike path goes all around Litchfield and all the way up to Murrell's Inlet. It is quite a ride. The grounds on the resort are very well kept, we did not see one piece of trash anywhere the entire time we were there. The front office staff were all so nice and helpful. The Guest Services Manager made recommendations for dining in the area and we ate at both restaurants while we were there and one of them twice. We will definitely be going back sooner than later!!
