We went to Quigley's on the recommendation of a local restaurant manager -- now I'm doing you the same favor he did us: have a pint and a meal at Quigley's! First, the beer: we had a lager, an India pale lager (I know, right?) and an IPA. Each was delicious; properly flavorful for the style, very refreshing, acceptably sessionable for lunch on a 90 degree day.
We couldn't settle on a simple lunch, so we ordered a whole bunch of stuff: spinach salad with hot bacon dressing (loads of flavor), House made chili (chunks of beef, spinach, nice heat level - an award winner), deep fried pickles (crunchy, tangy, surprisingly good), and the piece de resistance - fried green tomatoes with goat cheese and blackened shrimp in a Thai chili glaze. Oh man, I'm gonna be thinking about that one for a long time.
Service was good, prices excellent, atmosphere relaxed. Don't miss it!

We had 8 people on our visit to this restaurant and they were accommodating and attentive. The food was served hot and quickly and the chocolate chip ice cream sandwich dessert was scrumptious.

I am a local and am a frequent visitor to this restaurant. Go - order anything on the menu - and you won't be disappointed. Everything is fresh, well prepared and reasonably priced. In addition to locals, I have seen vacationers, golfers, beach-goers, and families. This place is for everyone.

Did I mention it is walking distance from the Hampton Inn?

We found Quigley's tucked away just off of Route 17 much to our delight. Luckily is was happy Hour too providing very well priced drinks (Mixed, Beer & Wine). We ordered four appetizers which panned out to be enough top more than satisfy our dinner palates. Not usually a wing person but I could not get enough of them. The fried green tomatoes had a little kick which was pleasing. How can you mess up nachos..... and they didn't short change on the toppings and dips. Add a Friendly staff serving and catering to you it was most enjoyable.

We have been going to Quigley's for a number of years, mostly for happy hour, but also for two for ten bucks Tuesdays. Love the fried pickle! Food is uneven, but there is a long menu list with lots of choices and daily specials. Happy hour is in the bar and smoking is allowed, but smoke is not usually overwhelming.
Beer is very good and a great value during happy hour for $2 pints.
