I spent a week here for business and this hotel is one of the best that I've stayed in for price, comfort, and location. The rooms are incredibly clean and the service is wonderful. The staff is always helpful, polite and they love their job. We booked our room prior to arriving so the check-in process went incredibly smooth. Upon entering the room it was clean and smelled exactly that. The bed was nice and comfy and the shower was actually a decent size shower without a tub which is always a plus. Provided is the fridge, dresser, tv, microwave, coffee maker, free Wi-Fi which was surprisingly fast, and a computer in the lobby. Complimentary breakfast was more than just donuts and muffins and also included sausage/bacon, biscuits, a variety of cereal, waffles, coffee, juice, yogurt, pastries, and fruit which seems to be rare these days. The staff kept the area cleaned and well stocked so that none of the items ran out. The pool is well kept and perfect for a quick dip or a place to relax and get away from work. For dinner you don't have to travel far to find a place to eat. Within walking distance there is a McDonald's, Waffle House, KFC, Subway, Cracker Barrel, Wendy's, Zaxby's and even a Ruby Tuesday's. The manager, Mandy was also one of the sweetest people I have ever met and was so helpful, polite, and friendly. The best part about this particular sleep in is how Military friendly they are. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay.

The rooms are great and the staff is wonderful! Never have I had the friendly down to earth greeting at any other hotel than I did here. The fact that there are several food establishments within walking distance added to the joy of my stay. Will definitely stay again.

Interestingly, this place didn't come up on my TA app when we were in the area. We were all tired and ready to stop so we found the exit and hoped for the best. We had stopped at a hotel in SC on the way to Ohio, but we were too far away from that one to stop again so we took this exit. We pulled up to this hotel and I noticed that it had a "Recommended on Trip Advisor.com 2011" sticker on the door, which I figured was a good sign. It didn't disappoint. The gentleman at check in was friendly and it was a quick process. Our room was on the first floor which was a huge bonus. We LOVED the fact that it had an actual shower in the bathroom, not a bath/shower combination. The room was very clean and it smelled clean. The beds were comfortable, if not a little small since each of us had to sleep with one of the kids. That is one minor complaint. The room had a good size fridge, a dresser and a big flat screen TV. Free wi-fi was available as well. They had a very decent continental breakfast from 6-9 which offered something for everyone. Coffee, tea, cereals, juice, yogurts, pastries and two waffle irons. Even my picky 5 year old found something to eat. The staff was polite and helpful in the breakfast area, which was constantly being tidied up and stocked while we were there. Checkout was butter smooth. A fun note: one of the employees who was due to come in later was having her birthday that day, so the manager and front desk attendant were decorating her area and put up a handmade sign. I thought that was nice to see. It showed that there was some fun being had among the employees and everyone appeared in a good mood. There are a lot of other options off this exit, but the price was right (79.99 plus tax the night we stayed) and we enjoyed our nights rest. We headed home to Florida the next morning.

I spent two nights here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean. There was nothing fancy but a nice, clean, quiet room with several fast food places very close, walking distance if you wanted. I would stay here again and probably will.

Staff is wonderful and polite, however, the owners need to invest more money towards renovating the hotel. Carpet is old and stained, linens are worn out, peeling wall paper in the bathroom, air filter in vent for bathroom is clearly layered in dust/residue...just all round outdated. Only reason why I rated it as high as a 3, is that they keep it clean as much as they can, the complimentary breakfast is decent, and the location is convienent to the Edisto Gardens, and right off of Inner State 26 between Charleston and Columbia. The walls and floors are thin...you can hear everything. There is also a late night train that you can hear from your room.

Quiet location, easy to get to. Amazing shower, no bath. Comfortable bed. Air was not clean, I am sensitive to that. Clean, but I felt the need to wear slippers. Definitely would stay here again. Good breakfast, they even served fruit which most other continental breakfasts have stopped doing.

stayed on choice reward points. this sleep inn is ok, nothing out of ordinary. desk clerk helpful, efficient. room was ok, mirror over sink was dirty, wiped part way up. breakfast on the skimpy side...pretty typical for sleep inn. don't take room 216 or 218, too close to elevator (noisy kids at 9:30 PM).
i have stayed in orangeburg before , but at hampton which is perhaps older, but cleaner and better breakfast.
this being xmas day almost no restaurants open, orangeburg has a beer ordinance on sundays.
