Description: Located on Main Street in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach, Flynn’s Irish Tavern is a locals favorite and a must stop for annual and first time visitors to the Grand Strand. Just a short walk from the wide sandy beaches and first class accommodations of Ocean Drive, and a short ride from the many championship golf courses that populate the north strand. Flynn’s is a perfect place to enjoy a pint or two after a day on the beach or the golf links.Flynn’s is owned and operated by the Flynn Family and the authentic look and old country feel of the establishment comes from Marty’s place of birth, County Roscommon, Ireland. The tavern is housed in the former North Myrtle Beach jail, in fact, the jail cells are still here and tours are given upon request.

This is a classic Irish Pub! We were seated right away (it was off season) and the service was great. The menu has many varied offerings!

Mashed potatoes and fries are a must. Traditional fare is great! Soup are wonderful as well. We had the she crab and the Irish potatoe soup. Both were winners. Wings were great as well!

The Irish sausage and homemade mashed potatoes was a winner.

Price was wonderful, Less than $80 for 5 with drinks.

Looking for a 'homestyle meal' at the beach - go to Flynn's .... love the potato crusted grouper, and the bangers and mash were yummy, prime rib was excellent, cooked to perfection, and the chicken potpie was wonderful, who needs all that crust! Flynn's is the place to go --- no strangers there, just friends you haven't met yet. Absolutely adore all the Flynns.

We went there because of all of the good reviews but were pretty disappointed. The food was very good and we liked what we had but the prices are high for the amount of food you get. We had water to drink because it just seemed to expensive here. Sorry.

Nice little restaurant with great food. We had their irish beers and corned beef and cabbage. Best we ever had.

We went on a week night around 5pm. We decided to sit at a high top table in the bar area. We really liked the Irish decor and music. The food was decent, and reasonably priced, and our bread pudding for dessert was delicious.

The service, although very friendly, was not very attentive. It took a while to even be approached for our order, then once we received our drinks, we were not offered a refill even once. The waiter may have been new. My husband ended up going up to the bar to get us more drinks and water. Also found it strange that we did not get a bread basket. Other tables seemed to have them.

All said, our meal was fine, and we really liked the atmosphere.
