Ate here as recommended by my handy Trip Advisor app. The 1st dining experience was really good. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. Had so much food, ate it again the next day for breakfast. I had a waffle, scrambled eggs, bacon. All the kids breakfasts come with eggs and choice of meat plus pancakes/waffles/french toast. One child had pancakes w/ cherries, fluffy and had lots of cherry compote on top. Husband ate his entire breakfast. The only thing I did not care for was that the restaurant serves yucky margarine, not real butter. The second visit was on our way home from vacation, our last stop in North Myrtle Beach. To be fair, it was a Saturday late-morning and the restaurant was very busy. We waited a very long time (over 1/2 hour) to be seated. Right before we were about to sit down, a host came and asked if it would be okay to seat someone before us because the person was diabetic. Ok, by us of course. We didn't want anyone to go in shock or pass out, however we had 2 young children with us and husband and I were very busy all morning getting ready to leave our rental that we hadn't eaten anything all morning. I realize that the host would not have known this info, so patient we tried to be. There seemed to be a lot of employees/manangers/owners standing around however. I have worked in a restaurant in the past, and to see people just standing around while the entire restaurant is hopping is a bit annoying. They could have been helping the waitstaff with drinks or in the kitchen, really. There were a lot of big parties dining there that day, I noticed and a lot of noise. We finally were seated, ordered a reuben sandwich, a breakfast sandwich, and twin corndog plate for the kids to share. Nothing complicated, however took another half-hour plus to received our order. The food was good, when it finally arrived but part of me wondered if it was because we were ravenous at that point and just thankful to put something in our stomachs! Our second trip to Dino's set the tone for a very long, complicated drive back home. The hostess was very nice and did offer a discount on our meal, plus another coupon for a repeat visit but we were traveling back home and would not be returning to the area.
