Took a chance on this little place based on Trip Advisor reviews. It definitely lives up to all the hype. Great food and service. Quaint little place with an excellent menu and fair pricing. We will definitely be returning.

“North Myrtle Beach's Best Dining Secret”
Reviewed March 6, 2014

The Midtown Bistro is indeed a little gem in North Myrtle Beach. It’s best to call for reservations: ALWAYS for dinner, and usually for lunch. The Italian food is excellent, and we’ve never had an entre that we didn’t like. We’ve taken many other couples there, and all have agreed with us that it’s a great place to eat. Service is good, and the wait staff is informed, energetic, and concerned that you get food that you will enjoy. The decor is warm and comfortable, and the wall art (which I believe is for sale) changes often, so there’s something new and interesting to see every time you dine there. There are no booths, and the restaurant is usually busy, if not packed, so it’s not the quietest place to go, yet it’s OK, especially if you can get a corner table. I would not bring children. Also put the address into your GPS before trying to find the place. It’s in a small strip center, set back from busy Hwy 17, and you usually don’t see it until you’ve just driven past the entrance.

“Better make reservations!”
Reviewed March 5, 2014

Midtown Bistro is know by a lot of locals in Myrtle Beach for it's great food and good value. The Italian dishes are superb. If you leave here hungry - then it is your own fault. I just LOVE the Antipasta Salad, I usually ask for my dressing on the side so that I can take the rest home.

“Great place”
Reviewed March 4, 2014

I've been to this place a couple of times and love it. While it's relatively small, it's seemingly always packed. The food is fantastic but the daily specials draw the crowds. It's in a little strip mall with little parking. You will be shocked when you see the inside. Very classy. The staff are great. The waiters, hostess and bartender are all great and very helpful. I you want to eat here you better make reservations.
