During our stay, we enjoyed the proximity to the beach, local attractions, the pool and easy parking. I cannot stress enough that the staff was all friendly and helpful.
There are approximately 1000 rules given to you about your stay including how many towels you may have, when you can get a linen refresh, how you check out (yes, they want house keeping to audit your room before you leave), a 75 dollar fee for losing your key after 11pm, towels are counted when you take your towels to the linen exchange, and towels are 15 dollars a piece if you lose them. I forgot that they even have a dark brown towel for makeup wiping!? Because the precious white towels may.....gasp.... get dirty!
Our room was dingy, we were given a room without a view of the ocean. There was no room to store anything. For 2 women traveling, there was no space to put makeup. The room had a full stove and larger refrigerator. Honestly I would have given up the stove and fridge for a counter. The bathroom had mildew in the grout. I u understand that they are renovating, but the room looked like it hadn't been redone since 1980. The linens on the bed were very clean.
The staff was all friendly. Everyone we met chatted with us and even the construction workers painting the stairwell were not creepy.
I felt safe in the room, as a woman it's tough how large complexes can make you feel like people are around every corner, but this place was lit and there were always staff around.
Overall I would have rated the place higher, but the rules were so ridiculous and confusing in my opinion! I dont want your dang towels.
