“The spot were running!”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

Cherry Grove pier is great....Beach bar, restaurant, ice cream shop, bait and tackle, and gift shop right there at the entry....lots of room to fish, cleaning stations available...and this trip the Spot were running...I had no clue what a Spot was until this trip..lol...turns out they are pretty tasty fish!! The pier is awesome..and if you stay at the Prince Resort its literally right out your front door.

“My Beach Walk Destination!”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

Cherry Grove Pier is a 1.5 mile walk from the condo we stay in each year, so the walk (barefoot, of course) each day is perfect! The occasional beer & calamari at the bar on the pier is an added bonus!

“Day of Fishing”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

We spent a day on the pier fishing. Nothing was biting (nobody was getting anything) - so sort of a bummer on that, but not the pier's fault! Just a few pin fish is all. The pier looks well maintained, no complaints with that. Cleaning tables all worked (but no fish to clean!) Only "complaint" is the cost to fish. It's a little steep compared to other piers. We stayed within walking distance, so didn't have to shell out the extra $8 to park. Really nice pier - but the price needs to be reduced. If it was cheaper, we would have been there most everyday to fish.

“Gorgeous”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Hubby loved strolling the pier and talking with the locals. They were kind and let him watch them fish and catch sharks. He was amazed by the ocean life he could see from the pier.

“Great Little Hide Away”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

The pier and the beach is beautiful. You will not find the large crowds that are generally seen at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, but this does not take away from the total experience. I loved the quietness you will experience at this beach and pier.
