“They charge to park and to get on the pier”

Don't waste your money unless you plan to fish. Its not worth the money just to walk out on the pier.

“Nice pier for some fishing.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

Took my son "saltwater fishing" for the first time in his life here. The people in the shop were helpful, the pier wasn't extremely busy, and he caught a couple of fish without spending a fortune. Rod rental was easy and the equipment worked very well.

“Great pier for a price”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2013

It is $2 just to go on and $6 to fish, no license required. Sharks hang around and we swam with one.

“Lots of fun!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 31, 2013

My husband and I went and had a great time. We rented fishing poles $20 for the entire day/ $13 for half day open til 2am. They had different options for bait. It was really fun watching everybody fishing! We also saw quite a few sharks swimming close to the pier and jellyfish. Even if you don't want to fish it would still be worth walking out which is $2 pp. Their is a parking lot right at the pier that is $8 to park with 2 free walking passes included, but across the street there is free parking. The people were really friendly and willing to share their fishing advise or help you get your fish off you line if it swallows the hook. And their bathrooms were actually pretty clean which was surprising. Lots of fun for all!
