never have I heard or seen a pier that has a $2 fee to walk on it. I've walked on piers along the California coast, the Florida coast, and never paid to walk on it. except at the cherry grove pier. what's up with that?????

Visited pier after July 4th. Wasnt too crowded. Restaurant was nice ocean view & casual but little spendy. Has ice cream stop & bait shop. $8. To park & $2. Admission to get on pier. You can buy fishing poles starting at $30. or rent for $20+ a day. Or bring your own. You can catch something just about anytime of day. Beach is below so good area for those with different tastes if you get sick of beach or fishing you can go eat. Place was pretty clean. Good family place. At nite you can fish on beach but be careful. DO NOT go in past waist as rip currents have been deadly this week!! 7 Drownings between July 3-5 on Carolina shores!!! And we personally saw 2 rescues on 2 days & additional drownings!!!!! Have fun & be safe!

Nothing exceptional just a good old pier. Does have a superb view of the ocean. Do come here each visit to experience the view.

This pier is very long, offering so many spots to stop and view the beautiful ocean. The 2 story observation deck allows you to take in that spectacular view as well as the fishing going on. This pier is a must-visit when at N Myrtle Beach. I never miss it!

The boardwalk has a upper deck at the end of the pier is built nicely with seating and a lot of fishing room , Their is a small cost to fishing their but the fun in the sun out weighs the cost ,You won't be dissatisfied and the bait is sold their also. No dislikes only good times. Branden
