“Spring Break 2014 Finger Lakes to Myrtle Beach”
Reviewed April 18, 2014

We have been to several Myrtle Beach Hotels / Resorts. This is the one. This place has everything and then some. Even when the weather is not cooperating, the towers block most of the wind when you are down by the pools.
On site 21 Main rest / bar is great. Everyone at "The Towers" were just fantastic. Hamburger Joe's is just a short walk up the street and you can't beat their prices, food and service. Kid's loved it. Also, Barefoot at the Beach is directly across the street. Plenty of great shops, coffee, rest and entertainment.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent. Absolutely perfect.

We will visit again. This was our first trip to Myrtle Beach and we are very pleased with North Beach Plantation. The staff from the reception desk to the cleaning crew were just awesome. We were centrally located and that was really nice. We are already planning to return June/July timeframe and hope to have the same experience.

This resort is probably one of the best resorts I have ever stayed at. It's so massive and there are so many things to see and do. We had a Magnolia 3-bedroom condo with ocean front views and it was gorgeous. The decor is beautiful and everything is new and tastefully done. Our balcony view was amazing! There are many pools and hot tubs to choose from, indoor and outdoor, and the swim-up pool bar was great as well, although, it was only open on two days of our stay. We wished it was open daily because we would have utilized it. The breakfast buffet in the cafe at the towers is expensive, but delicious and has many offerings. The cost for an adult is $12.95. We had one blip on our trip but it was taken care of. My husband awoke at 2:00 am to the shower in the bathroom turning on all by itself. He went to turn it off and it wouldn't. The handle just kept spinning around. He called the front desk and a security guard showed up about 15 minutes later. He tried to fix it himself and even tried to turn off the main water valve and could not. My husband could tell that he felt bad about our situation and the guard offered to have us moved into a new unit. At 2 am, we were not going to move all of our family members to a new unit. The guard contacted maintenance, who arrived sometime later and was able to shut off the main water to our unit. By about 4:30 am, it was mostly taken care of but there was lots of lost sleep having to deal with all of this. A man from maintenance came the next day and replaced the shower handle in that bathroom and all was well. We did receive complimentary breakfast buffet coupons for all of our family members for the next morning, which was a nice gesture. This resort is located at the north end of the beach, which we found to be a much better location than any other part of the beach. It's much quieter and less populated. This resort is amazing overall.

Stayed in alot of nice places but some don't have the "wow" factor. Driving up to the property and opening the living room curtains and seeing the nice pool/beach view were both a rush. Even the hallways and entry doors were really nice, and I rarely think about them much. Alot of restaraunts nearby, several are accessible without even getting on the main highway. I gave the property a good value rating since we were able to find discount pricing. We normally do not like to stay in high rises but the place was so well rated we thought we'd take a chance requesting a lower level room. Our assigned room was on a much higher floor than hoped but it wasn't ready at check-in so we did get a third floor unit. Like most places, there simply aren't any guarantees. Nice, after picking the place out and dragging the family a few hundred miles, to hear I got it right.

Room Tip: Stayed in the towers. Many reviews say the higher floors have great views, but I found the view from...

The resort by far surpasses any I've seen on the beach. Spent four day in playa del Carmen last year and the setting reminds me of the resort there. Minus the all inclusive of course!! If you want a tropical pool oasis without having to fly, this is the place. Swim up pool bar, plentiful lounge chairs, and steps from the beach. Third time there and all rooms have been fantastic. Bring your own coffee tho none is provided in the room. Spa experience at New year's was great too.

Room Tip: Towers have you ocean front. Higher levels offer better views. Bring your on coffee, none is provid...

Stayed in the towers. Great facility, pools very nice and clean and kids had a great time. Room was very nice and clean with separate bedroom for the kids and the master suite had a king bed with very nice bathroom, walk in closet, walk in shower and nice balcony off the room connected to the living room balcony. Great location to everything you need and a great beach. Cooked in the room for most meals which was nice having two kids. Very friendly staff. Parking was nice. Only minor complaint is the fitness center was not located near the towers and was not able to use them unless we drove the car to the other side of the resort. A second fitness center at the towers would be nice. Overall - Awesome place and highly recommended! We will go back.

Came down for a girls weekend and we were nicely surprised at check in when they told us they upgraded us from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom condo. The condo was absolutely gorgeous, only thing that was missing was a DVD player for the rainy first night but it wasn't a big deal. Pool complex was gorgeous, can't wait to go back when it's warmer to use it more (and the swim up bar!). Fitness center was great and the grounds were beautiful. Great location very close to Barefoot Landing and not too far from Broadway at the Beach. Will definitely be back!

Room Tip: The oceanfront condos are gorgeous, I can't remember the name of the building we stayed in but i...
