“Run down house - did not live up to pictures.”

Home is very run down -- needs a fresh coat of paint and thorough cleaning. When pulling into park under the home, was not impressed. The paint is completely chipping off the home and laying all over the cement floor. The ceiling (plywood) in the car port was falling down in places and looked awful. Walking up the steps to the front door, there was mold on the handrail and the inside of the home is like stepping back into the 70's. Kitchen was the only thing that appeared to be updated. Floors were dirty - sweeper that was there to be used ran very poorly and hardly would suck up anything. Ended up going out and buying floor mop. Beds were not comfortable, mattresses had seen better days. Kids dropped toys on the floors and when trying to get them out from under a bed, found that there were items like a sock, red cup, lots of dust under the beds.

Washer/Dryer were located in the car port area in a locked little room that was very dirty. They were both rusty; ended up running bleach through the washer before doing any clothes at all. Washer did run, but would get stuck in the rinse cycle and not spin out unless you moved the dial a little further ahead and then it kicked in and spun out. Dryer did heat and dry the clothes well.

Bathrooms looked nice with the white subway tile, but there was mold in the shower to the master bedroom. Do not count on having much toilet paper; they left 2 rolls for us; there are three bathrooms and we had occupants in each bedroom so we were using all three bathrooms.

Back deck was very warn and not very nice. Definitely could not walk on it barefoot for fear of splinters. White plastic deck chairs were warn. There were hooks that were probably for a deck swing, but no swing to be found.

Best thing about this home was the location to the beach - but that was it.

All in all, this place was not what was expected by seeing the photos. Owner definitely needs to reinvest some money and update; or at least clean really well and paint. That would make a world of difference. Our vacation was fun none the less, but the running joke was telling the kids not to jump around or we might end up in the car port!
