We rode our motorcycles 300 miles for a wonderful Myrtle Beach vacation and our first stop was Captain Poo's for lunch. Food was great, awesome atmosphere and service from Peggy outstanding!!!

Live entertainment OK, liked the atmosphere but not impressed with the food. Even though in a tourist spot seemed to have lots of regulars, maybe not. We split a Captain's platter, the flounder fillet was the best thing, with a few bones. The shrimp were small and tasted fishy. The scallops were not good, only ate one. Only two good sized oysters - they were good. Hushpuppies not impressive. The cocktail sauce was good but very horseradishy. The service was good, no complaints there.

We went here on a local recommendation and because of it's location. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good. I had the same problem as I had in many places in Myrtle Beach about getting a draft beer that wasn't light yellow. I settled for a bottle of the most popular non-yellow beer in Myrtle Beach, Yuengling.

My wife and I had the platter with all the different seafood. The seafood was just OK, except for the flounder, it was large and tender. The scallops and shrimp were small and not so tender.

More bar than restaurant. The prices are good and food is OK for a light meal or happy hour. Everyone is friendly. It looks rough on the outside but is OK inside. They have some kind of entertainment every night. We were there on trivia night, which was a fun way to pass a few hours.

You will think you have stepped back in time - watch the sunset on the water outside or eat inside. Flouder is the best around!
