“Beautiful Course”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 28, 2013

It is a beautiful course but if you are a high handicapper, know that a lot of water is in play. The staff was very friendly and the course was in excellent shape. Give it a try

“Our Favorite Course on the Strand”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013

Glen Dornoch is my favorite course of all the dozens I've played on the Strand. They appreciate your business, which is one of my requirements to return. I worked with the public for 30 years and won't give jerks my money if I can help it.

You'll love Glen Dornoch. It's SHORT... very short compared to Carolina National or some of the other courses... but it will kick your tail if you can't keep it in the fairway. We had two and they put us with two other players, one a young guy who thought he was a real player and insisted on playing the back tees. It brought him to his knees. I think my wife beat him... I know I did. 16, 17 and 18 are three great finishing holes...water on every hole and concluding with a double green that serves 9 and 18. Don't miss the green on 17... go play it and see why.

This is one beautiful course with a number of really tough holes. It is fun to play and fun to finish playing. You got to love it.

“Garden of Eden for Golfers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 1, 2013

This must be Garden of Eden. Each hole is guarded by trees. Golfers do not have to worry about outside world. Beautiful, cozy, like bossom of Mom. Along just over water edge of one of small ponds, a group of turtles are enjoying sun bath and they are ignoring our presence. Difficulty of golfing is gradually increasing as holes progress. The last several holes in the back line chanllenge the skill and heart of golfers. And, scenery and passing Casino on the waterway laughs at golfers. Good luck and try it yourself.

over the canal in gondola (some hang over from some ski resort!). Nice track. Playable and reasonably priced.
