if you want to sit at the cooking station you may want to ask them. it was pretty quite and not very many people there. we wanted hibachi but when they sat us we didn't realize there was another room where they did the hibachi. they brought it to our table cooked the food was very good and the filet was excellent!

I'm only in Charleston once or twice a year, but each time I'm here I have to visit Sake House. Dinner is fantastic with sake bombers and sushi-hibachi. For lunch I love the bento boxes, just enough healthy food to last you until dinner. It comes with soup or salad, plus rice and California rolls (4). The salmon and chicken are my favorites. Hot tea and ice water goes good with lunch. The wait staff are all well trained and friendly, so I always tip extra. Last time I was there, there was a constant flow of carry out going on. If people are willing to drive in to get the food, it must be good.

I've worked at this place and it is one of the most nastiest places to eat. The only food that is ok there is their sushi. Other then that, the hibachi chefs never wash there hands. They will cut different kids of meat and fish with the same knife they cut your hibachi meat with. The fridges in the kitchen always leak everywhere and in the creases have mold. Have you ever been to a restaurant that had a bathroom in the kitchen? Well this place does. Not only that, she keeps the backdoor open in the kitchen so we've had plenty of servers pick bugs out of people's food before being served. And the management there is horrible! Colleen may look and sound nice but she treats her employees like trash. And don't even bother tipping your waitress because she'll only be getting 30% of what you tipped her and the rest goes to "the restaurant" oh an all her kitchen staff and your hibachi cooks I'm pretty sure are illegal. Since one night she had to go pick one of her workers up from a dock off a boat. She has all her kitchen staff live in one house all together and overworks them. They work everyday open to close. No excuses. Oh and even better, she's supposed to be a manager but she will leave or sleep in the hibachi party room for half the day. And even better yet. She had a server come from Japan and had him working his but off everyday, and she didnt even pay him. He said it himself she didn't pay him one dime for his time working there. This place needs to be shut down.

I go here often for sushi. Its hands down best sushi intown. Im referring to freshness of fish, which alot of the sushi places lack. Most importantly they are very careful with shellfish allergies. My husband always orders hibachi and he thinks it is good. Its fresh.

Had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. Very pleasant atmosphere and lots of food on the plates. Very generous servings.
