Very expensive but it is well worth it. Happy hour every day in the lobby with free snacks drinks and booze Nice rooms, cool elevators, it is connected to a skywalk which is fun to explore, especially at night when its closed. (you arent supposed to go in but they dont lock the doors) The lobby is amazing with ponds, fountains, a bar, and plenty of comfy chairs. The only trouble is you can hear voices and splashing water from the lobby all night long. Location of the hotel is great for the airport but poor for the beach and downtown charleston.

Great deal. Great services and very pleasant and helpful staff. It was almost worth the trip to meet the guy who cooks the omelletes in the morning, he was an absolute joy, great fun with the kids and always smiling as well as cooking great food. We had a delightful stay. The lady who makes the cocktails at teatime is worth a mention as she was also super friendly. Well Done. I would return here with pleasure, a quality hotel I would highly recommend..

I travel every week and this hotel has an excellent shower! I have to say, one of the best showers in a hotel. The amenities are normal of an Embassay Suites hotel. The staff is pleasant and responsive. Try this place, you won't be disappointed.

I like E.S. We try to stay at them wherever we go. We picked the wrong weekend, 4th of July weekend. There were 5 family reunions going on at this hotel at one time. Biggest problem is that management allowed the patrons to scream all night long thru out the hotel. Had to endure that for 2 nights b4 the reunions left. The line for omelets was predictably 50 minutes with that amount a people waiting. Cook could have been faster I think. Our room was typical E.S. Clean, didn't seem dated except for the old style TVs. I received free internet in the room even though I didn't have enuff Honors points to get it. Thanks for that! Tanger Mall across the street along with Walmart and other places to eat. I'd stay there again and recommend to friends. Paid $142 a night.

My daughter and I just returned from a stay at this hotel in North Charleston. Our main purpose was to attend a concert at the Charleston Performing Arts Center. I knew we wanted to stay at an Embassy Suite (one of the best of the Hilton family) and, upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that they were located on the same property. The hotel itself is beautiful and very self contained but the location also makes it perfect. In addition to the Performing Arts Center, there is shopping and a number of restaurants very close. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a beautiful place to stay in the Charleston area.

This hotel is in a good location if you want to go to the Tanger Outlet but next time we'll be trying another hotel. The television was OLD and fuzzy, the bed was too soft and hurt my back. The furniture in the front of the suite (sofa & chair) were so old that when you sat on them your rear almost hit the floor. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They deserve a better maintained place to work.

Stayed here Thu/Fri nights over Apr.1-3. When we walked in the room around 9:20 pm on Thursday night, even the kids noticed an odor (hard to describe musty/metallic), we opened the windows in both rooms and light a candle. It helped some but over the course of our stay it came and went and was much more noticeable with the a/c running, especially in the front room. We had reserved one of the corner rooms that is somewhat larger than the standard size double rooms. Our room had 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa (old style that really needed to be replace). The condition of the sofa in this room should embarass Hilton management. It as stained an thread-bare. The coffee table was in really bad shape also. There was supposed to be 4 chairs at the table in the living room and there were only 3. This room can accomodate 6 guests. The padding on the chairs was older and stained also. The edges of the curtains in the living room were faded by, most likely, the sun. This room was not in very good shape. The old style bathroom was small and the exhaust fan would wake the dead. I understand that the size of the bathroom is a product of when the hotel was constructed but it is a clear indication of the age of this hotel. The bedroom was in much better shape than the 'living room area". I would rate the living room a D, the bathroom a C-, and the bedroom a B+. It was hard to get past the living room area furnishings and the smell that we thought that we had eliminated by opening the windows and using candles returned on Saturday morning after a night of running the a/c with windows closed.

We did not use the indoor pool, exercise room, bar area or restaurant. The breakfast that is a trademark of Embassy Suites properties with their cooked to order omelettes was fine. We travel a ton and hotel breakfasts are not that big of a deal to us. The lines on Friday morning for the breakfast were manageable but on Saturday morning they were lined out to the elevators (doesn't mean much to you, but that means they were very long) for the omelettes. Rudeness of a very few caused by them breaking the regular food lines was an issue. There are always a few that think that they are special. Enough about that.

We have stayed at this property (standard type room) before and did not have the odor issue. If we had been staying longer or had arrived earlier in the evening, we would have complained and asked to be moved. Since it was only for 2 nights and was on the back end of a 7 night stay on Hilton Head Island, we just dealt with it. I am a gold rated Hilton Head honors member and usually receive a very nice room when I stay at Hilton properties. Didn't happen here. Never the less, this room (#521) needs to be refurbed. We did get a great AAA rate of $79 plus tax.

One odd thing about the check-in process. I was not asked to sign anything on check-in regarding the rate, the type of vehicle, etc. I always have my ID and credit card available and it was looked at. It just seemed kind of odd. I would recommend this hotel but I would use the caveat that if you are not happy with the room request another. I do feel that this property is due some serious rehab. Very average hotel stay and really below that compared to other Embassy Suites.
