Good service. Clean rooms. Just need a better system to use the pools other than the wrist bands. We did have some ants in the kitchen area. We had a toilet handle break and the repair staff was prompt on getting that fixed.

This was my first time staying in Myrtle Beach and I chose the Landmark Resort based on the on-line reviews of this hotel. I was impressed that the management for the Landmark Resort actually responded to the several negative reviews that I read on-line and seemed to have resolved the issues and the majority of the reviews were positive. Our ocean-front hotel room was comfortable and clean. We had no issues and enjoyed our stay. The pool areas were a lot of fun too.

Wem spent 4 nights there, Wednesday-Sunday. The hotel was pretty empty the first couple of nights then got really busy as the weekend came as Bike Week was starting that Monday.

The hotel is in a decent location even though it is near the airport, the sound of jets wasn't a problem at all. There are a couple of restaurants nearby you can walk to but most require driving. Spring Garden Pancake House is a block away and very good for breakfast (I will review that one also). The hotel has a small bar and restaurant for lunch and dinner, a desperate restaurant with a breakfast buffet plus poolside snack bar and a bar that makes lots of fruit drinks, bartender Adam was very nice and friendly. When the pool gets busy you will wait a while as I only saw one bartender on at a time.

Overall we enjoyed the hotel, we had a deluxe oceanfront suite on the top floor which had a great view. They advertise 17 pools but I think this includes the 10 different hot tubs I saw. The hotel does need some updating, bed wasn't the most comfortable. We had s problem with one mod our air conditioners but maintenance came right up I and swapped out the whole unit. They were also the only hotel I noticed that had a walkway over the road connecting their parking garage and hotel.

Room Tip: Oceanfront is the way to go here. I requested the highest floor they had when making the reservation...

We have stayed at the landmark several times over the last few years. It is a good value and decent property. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Stayed in a King angle suite for the first time. I would opt for a different room there. These are heavy traffic areas and quite loud.

Overall we would suggest this for a family but not if you're terribly picky. Over the last couple of years we've noticed the property and service slipping.

Room Tip: Avoid angle rooms. The breakfast has gone downhill. Drive up the street to Ihop

Went for a long weekend chill out and visit a few friends. Opted for the Ocean Front Executive Suite- Very comfortable-Clean -Everything Worked - Very Quite-Staff Was Great- Priceless View-
Will Do it Again

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on the upper floors -Ocean Front is the way to go stayed in room 1432 perfect

If you expecting a 5 star Abu Dhabi hotel this is not it.What Landmark is tho is a great family/couple hotel/resort. I was reading all of the negative remarks and though we had made a mistake but glad we stayed with Landmark.From check-in to check-out everything went smooth.
During check-in there were 3 families already at the counter and i thought about a 20 minute wait......no. This gentleman(I have a habit of not getting names) came from nowhere and checked us in.In less than 10 minutes we were loading our luggage onto the carts and heading to our room.(Maybe a 2 minute wait for the elevator) We were in room 1232 (more on that later) next to the fire door and i thought ....no, but during the night.....no problem with the noise. Didn't even hear it. By the way, the lobby floor was so shiny I thought it was wet!
The staff and housekeeping were great. Always got a friendly hello. Didn't use the amentities but each time we walked thu the pool area it looked like everyone was having a great time. Did have the breakfast buffet one morning and although they were "slammed", the hostess, servers, everyone had a friendly hello....how ya doing. The selection on the buffet was comparable to Shoney's or any other place and priced about the same.
We had room 1232 and couldn't have been more pleased. I mean if you don't mind "major" problems such as ....sometimes you had to press the remote twice to get the tv to turn on.....some scratches on the desk......curtain patterns not matching but sad to say, to some people these are major problems.The room was very clean.....had 3 pillows one the bed and 2 in the closet.Housekeeping was exceptional.
The parking garage is a good idea. It's no smaller than an average city parking garage. if a H3 can park in it I guess just about anything can.
Over all Landmark is a great place to stay. We stayed May 2-8 and had no problems what so ever.

Room Tip: Room 1232 is a great room. Even tho next to the fire door....had no problems with noise. Great view...

Overall had a great experience at The Landmark. The staff was helpful and friendly, our room was clean. The on-site food option was good and relatively affordable. Loved having the Starbucks in the lobby. The indoor pool/lazy river/hot tub area was really nice. Great oceanfront location. It isn't the newest or fanciest property, but it's great for a long weekend to enjoy the pool and the beach and convenient to the fun that MB has to offer like Broadway at the Beach and the Boardwalk. It was a bit of a walk from the parking garage to the rooms but that wasn't a huge deal. We would stay here again for a family weekend.
