We visit Myrtle Beach at least twice a year, once with the kids and once without. With the kids we come EVERY Spring break. We normally stay at The Long Bay Resort (sister property) but this time wanted to experience the indoor water park. I have to say it was AWESOME!!!! Our sons (17, 13, and 11) loved every minute from the water park, the games, the activities, and the beach and of course Broadway at the Beach. Our room was spacious and very comfortable and clean. I enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. I had NO complaints. The only thing we missed was the GREAT cafe overlooking the pool that the Long Bay has. We will definitely be back! The staff was courteous and anything we needed they were "Johnny on the spot". If you have a family this is the place to stay.

Just arrived back from a 3 night stay at the Dunes Village Resort. The room was super clean and exceeded our expectations. The kids loved all of the activites, from the water slides to the pools, to the ping pong tables. We are definitely staying at the Dunes Village Resort next year.

Great place to stay with a family. Loved all the stuff for kids to do. Our 13, and 14 year old loved the free pool tables, foosball table, and ping pong tables. 7 year old loved everything. Indoor water play area is nice and all the water is heated. They even have several activities they can do during the day such as making a picture frame, a magician, and bingo. Best of all was quite at night and was able to sleep. If I had to recommend one thing, bring your own pillows, ours were like sleeping on rocks. Even with that we will stay here again if we ever go back to Myrtle Beach.

We have never been to Myrtle Beach and decided to take a trip during the Memorial Day weekend. I was originally booked @ Breakers and hated it!!! We called Dunes and they set us up in an Oceanfront Condo that had a breathtaking view, full equiped kitchen, jacuzzi tub, 2 flat screen TV's- it was very nice!! The BEST part if this hotel was the 2 waterparks, my kids 2, 5 &14 LOVED them. It provided hours of fun- they did not want to leave! The Hotel is right on the beach with so many amenities it was incredible. We had such an amazing time! We are planning to visit every Memorial Day weekend and will ONLY stay @ Dunes!! Great time, Great Place!

My husband & I along with our 9 month old daughter stayed at this resort after reading the wonderful reviews on this site. We had a fabulous time!! My daughter loved being in the lazy river! The staff was very nice from the moment we arrived to the minute we left! We had an angle ocean view room on the 9th floor and it was beautiful! The view was breathtaking! Our room was a 1 bedroom queen suite and bigger than we could have imagined! It was great to have the kitchen and washer/dryer right in our room especially with our daughter. It made the trip so much easier! The only down fall we noticed was that the resort does not have a small store to purchase any misc. items you may have forgotten. If you forget anything, you will need to drive to the grocery store or WalMart to pick up. I think if there would be a small store on site most vacationers would have no reason to leave the resort! We had such a wonderful time, we are trying to gather more family members to go next year! My husband would have loved to golf!

This was our first time to Myrtle Beach and we had a wonderful time. The accomodations were awesome. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The only downfall is that we stayed in this area during Bike week. DO NOT GO DURING MEMORIAL WEEKEND. Its not for families!!!

However we will come back soon to enjoy the beauty of the beaches and the array of great food and fun for kids and adults.

This hotel is a great place to stay with young kids. We just came back from staying at this hotel after staying 5 nights. We have a 22 month old boy, 9 year old daughter and my 12 year old nice who stayed with us. This hotel is located in a residential area, so its very quite and there is not a lot of oudoor activities. For us it work well since there is not much we can do with a toddler. But after spending the entire morning and afternoon at the beach and in the indoor water park, the girls wanted to do more after dinner (around 6pm) and everything is driving distance. If you are the type that likes outdoor attractions you may want to consider staying somewhere else as there is not much to do. For example the neighborhood was so quiet that I was not able to find a coffee shop in the afternoon. The resorts coffee shop closed early and there is nothing in the area that's walking distance. We ended up flying kites but most of our nights had to end early in the evening.
