Eight of us stayed at Coral Beach for a week in October. We go to Myrtle Beach every year and have always stayed at another hotel on the beach, this year we decided to try someplace different, and were we ever happy that we did. We were there during Tropical storm Tammy and staying at Coral Beach made it so that we didn't even care that it was raining. The indoor pool and hot tubs were immaculate and you could see why, there was always hotel staff around taking care of the place. The outdoor beach bar was awesome and so was McDivots, the indoor bar. Once the sun came out we spent our days outside by the beach bar where they had live entertainment every day, and karaoke at night. The outdoor pools and lazy river were just as clean as the indoor pools.

The rooms were also very clean and any time we had to call for anything, housekeeping was right there and they were very friendly and accomodating.
The restaurant was great, we had breakfast there every day, the food was always fresh and hot and the wait staff was very friendly.
Out of eight of us, we all agreed this will be the place we stay all the time when we go to Myrtle Beach.

We stayed at Coral Beach for 9 days in October 2005. We had a fantastic time. The room was just as pictured on their website. I was a bit nervous as some reviews stated this hotel was dirty and I was pleasantly surprised that it not only was clean, it surpassed any expectation I had. I found the staff to be not only friendly, but very helpful. Lots to do within the hotel itself, pools are immaculate, beach itself is gorgeous. We will be returning from now on!

We had a wonderful time at the Coral Beach Resort. Check in was very fast. Rooms were cleaned each day. We made good use of the kitchen. The pools were always clean and our children were hard pressed to get out of the lazy river or hot tub. It was very nice to sit by the pool with live music and a beach bar. The view from our room on fourth floor was awesome. The hotel is not the newest in the area but it is clean and has everything you need for a very nice vacation at Myrtle Beach.

September, 2005, we had a reservation to stay at the Coral Beach hotel. This was when Hurricane Ophelia was looming off-shore. We called the hotel the day before we were supposed to arrive, and asked what we could do if we wanted to postpone the trip to see what the hurricane would do. They were very nice and gave us a few alternatives. One was if we wanted to delay our arrival time a few days. We went ahead and went with just a few problems with rain. Also, when we arrived they had put us on the top floor. Being afraid of heights, they had a room coming open the next day on the sixth floor, but for the one night we could go ahead and stay on floor 12, or they had a room open on the first floor we could stay in until the next day. All of the front desk clerk's were very nice and helpful. We will plan to stay there again on future vacations.

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. We has a 1 bedroom suite. The bedroom had 2 double beds. There was a full kitchen and a living room with a pull down Murphy bed. The Murphy bed was very comfortable. My children loved the lazy river and the large kiddie pools. There are so many pools that none of them were ever too crowded. The live band by the pool was very good and there was Kareokee every night. The bowling alley on the 4th floor was also nice. There is a restaurant on site but there are also a lot of places within walking distance. The only negatives with this place were that you are only allowed to have one car per room...even if you have a large suite that sleeps 6. It seems that a lot of places @ Myrtle Beach have the same one car policy though. So be prepared to find alternate parking if you need more than one car. The elevators are also VERY slow. I would ask for a room on a lower level so you could use the stairs. Even with those minor negative points, I would not hesitate to stay here again. Overall this was a very nice and family friendly resort.
