My wife and I visited Myrtle Beach over MLK weekend. Winter at the beach is so relaxing without crowds and the weather can decent enough for strolls on the beach. Anderson Ocean Club is partially owned by Hilton Vacations and the Anderson Family. The hotel is hotel and timeshare property. The rooms are single room, double and triple room suites. The have small kitchenettes. Balconies are ocean view. Most rooms also have a washer and drier. The oproperty has and indoor and outdoor pool. There is also a lazy river. They have a bar and spa. Our last evening we came back to an uncleaned room. We asked housekeeping for extra laundry and did our own towels. Could have been a simple mistake. Parking is valet or self serve. Parking is one block behind Magnolias Southern style food.

This resort is an older resort and it has the feel of being a cozy home spot just like we like it and not all eclectic and glassy.

My family and I stayed i a two bed room that had balconies off each bed room and the living room. Nice kitchen with up to date appliances, and solid flooring. Could not hear any one until a rowdy group came in and that was handle right away without us even saying a word!!. And even then it was muffled we weren't bothered at all!!

Really appreciated the Concierge and the staff were awesome as well. Very close to everything actually so we were able to walk the beach, the board walk shop at the Mall and take in the Aquarium, and go u to North Myrtle Beach and surf city. !

Really pouted when we had to leave! And the weather was awesome for Christmas!!

Most reviews are on point. It bis a nice place to unwind, enjoy the ocean view breeze and fresh air.

Room tip: Try to get one with full view and corner unit

Excellent Customer service and the staff is very attentive from reservation until check-out. Stay for 2015 Thanksgiving. Staff gave recommendations of the best places to shop and dine. In-room kitchen had all the utensils to coo a full meal. Housekeeping staff were some of the best I have ever met

So if you're looking to get out of town and just decompress, and not deal with all the madness around Xmas time in your local town, this is a great location. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite on the 17th floor (ask for a higher floor, it's a better view!) and enjoyed thoroughly. Immaculately clean, 3 rooms are spacious with plenty of bedding (master is a king bed, 1 room 2 queens, 1 room a full and a twin) and each has its own private bathroom (master has only a shower though). Kitchen is fully stocked, microwave and dishwasher too. Washer/dryer unit included in a closet (although very noisy...so if you dare do laundry be prepared!) Living area is open onto the terrace, which is very long with a breath-taking view (make sure you get ocean front!) The only downside is the dining area is fitted with a 6 chair table (huh??? big snafu there Hilton). The unit itself can sleep 11 (with the sofa bed in living room sleeping 2), however it seats only 6 for eating....so that was uncomfortable. You can have the rooms cleaned upon request, so mid-stay is a good idea. There's a nice size gym on the 3rd floor, a spa on the 4th floor, and 2 outdoor pools (closed in December though) and a nice size indoor pool/jacuzzi open all year round. There's also a Starbuck's in the lobby, but it has short hours (open until mid-day only) and there are NO restaurants or room service options, so plan to buy groceries and cook, or eat out. In back of the hotel is a large miniature golf place, however it was closed the whole time we were there. For Hilton vacation owners, they provided free valet parking, otherwise expect to pay $15/day for the service. Free wifi, however very very slow....Plan to really enjoy the beach, as it is directly on the beach, and is very family oriented. Didn't see life guards anywhere, but it is a very shallow beach with packed sand. It's quite busy from March through October, as one of the top destinations in the East Cost. Wonderful stay!

Room tip: Pick an ocean-front room on a top floor, and leverage the beautiful terrace for sunrise/sunset lounging for sure!

Thank you for your recent stay at Anderson Ocean Club. We are pleased to read that your suite was "immaculately clean" and that you found it spacious as well. We have shared your feedback with management in order to address your concerns with the dining area as well as the limited coffee shop hours and wifi connectivity issues. Lifeguards are hired by the City of Myrtle Beach and are only in place during the busy summer months. The free mini-golf offered is seasonal as well. Again, we thank you for your stay and look forward to having you as a return guest in the future.

This was a little tough to find. The address is right on, but most of the resort is a Wyndham Property. Hilton owns only 150 units, so signage isn't prominent. We are owners in Hawaii and chose a 1 bedroom suite for our 2 person stay. The room was comfortable with an ocean front view. It could have slept 4 more with the pull out couch and wall hidden bed. Otherwise we had a full kitchen and living room with a dining room area that seats 4. We were placed on the 2nd floor directly over one of the pools. Not an acceptable spot in summer, but for New Year's weekend - perfectly ok. The exercise room was very large and well kept. We didn't use the spa services. All in all, a very nice stay and the free valet parking for owners is a treat.

Room tip: As with any ocean front - go high to avoid kiddie noise
