This property is in a good location but is starting to show its age. Water damage in washrooms, baseboards etc but overall, pretty clean.

The biggest issue I have here is this is a condo property, but there is no canteen on site! Most vacation properties with full kitchens have a small shop on premises where you can purchase basic staples such as milk, bread, eggs etc. The Anderson chose instead to include a coffee bar (umm, you have free coffee in the room).

Also, don't be fooled by the spa! They only offer massages and facials. Most spas offer pedicures, manicures and waxing but not this place.

The Anderson is not a bad place to stay, but there is certainly room for improvement.

Room tip: 1 br OF's bedroom is at back of unit & your window is view of hallway! If you want a view of the ocean from your room, invest in the 2 br.

This was our second visit, as Hilton Grand Vacation Club member. We had a two bedroom, corner suite. Great views, as are all the rooms. Rooms was very clean and had everything we could need to cook meals for those meals we prefer to eat in. No shuttle service to the Boardwalk area of town but we walked. I'm sure there are taxis available if desired. Pools were fun and always clean as well as two hot tubs. The beach is gorgeous and the city rents chairs and umbrellas if you don't have your own. There is a small bar on the way out to the pool but no restaurants on this property. I would definitly recommend this hotel for a fun beach vacation, close to many fun activities and shows.

Thank you for choosing Anderson Ocean Club for your stay in Myrtle Beach. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and found the rooms "very clean" and stocked with everything you needed. Chairs and umbrellas are only available for rent during the summer months so please keep that in mind if you decide to visit us in the off season. We thank you again for your stay and wish you a very happy new year!

We had a very pleasant time here. We went during the off season at Christmas, but seemed to be the best time to go for us. Not crowded, nice and cool at night and they have an indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. All was perfect for us. Stayed in a 3 bedroom oceanfront room and there was so much room. Master had king...1 bedroom had a twin and full...second had full beds. They all had their own tv's and bathroom too. We stayed in room 511 which we felt was perfect view and location. Could sit on balcony and still see everyone on the beach when kids went to play.

Room tip: Floor 5 and up have great views!

This visit was our second at Anderson. The location is great--far enough north in Ocean that the attractions of the boardwalk are not right in top of you. We've only gone during the off season (intentionally). The two bedroom ocean front views have a spacious balconies with terrific views. Get a room in as high a floor as possible--I also prefer north to south side.

All the rooms are well stocked--full kitchen, DVDs players, etc. The furnishings could use a bit of an update but all in all it gets the job done.

When going on beach vacations I'm always wary about how clean hotels will be. This place was very clean and relaxing. I strongly recommend their spa as well. Ask for Lanora when getting a massage. The staff is also very friendly whether at the front desk or running into them in the elevator. My only complaint is Anderson's partnership with the Magnolia restaurant. I get it's right across the street, but I feel that it brings the brand down when they tell people to go over there. Even for a cheap buffet it's just not good.
