We went to Myrtle Beach to hear a presentation on the Hilton Grand Vacation at Anderson Ocean Club, but were originally put up at the Patricia Grand. During the presentation we mentioned how disappointed we were in the Patricia Grand, and would have preferred to stay at the Anderson. The sales manager got us moved, so we spent the final two nights at the Anderson. Am I thrilled he was able to move us! Our room (an oceanfront 1 BR suite) was spacious and well appointed; the bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The bathroom featured a large jacuzzi tub, which I took advantage of.

The service was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The concierge made us dinner reservations, and was helpful with directions when we needed them. The valet service was very helpful and I was glad I didn't have to walk to the garage to get the card (it was cold every day, and rainy one day)

I'd never thought I wanted to go to Myrtle Beach, but I'm glad we went, and I think we'll be back!

Room Tip: splurge on an oceanfront. While every room has a view, some views are better than others

Great location for walking on the beach, pier, and central downtown of Myrtle Beach. Also just drive a few minutes and your at Broadway at the Beach. Accomodations were nice and clean and extra supplies were given when requested. However, didn't receive great marks for the size of their indoor pool and hot tub. Some other places in Myrtle Beach have larger pools and also an indoor lazy river. So when travelling in the winter time with kids not as exciting for them for their waterplay. Was able to upgrade our room upon arrival but it took an extreme length of time for them to do that. It shouldn't be that difficult to do. Could've done it over the phone alot easier. Keep in mind alot of resorts in Myrtle Beach are managed by big corporations who own many resorts under their umbrella companies. Therefore, front desk had to call elsewhere to make the changes.

We stayed here this past fall during another trip to Myrtle Beach. We thought the grounds and hotel looked nice. The first room we got had some maintenance issues and a very small balcony. We were able to upgrade to a room on the end with a wrap around balcony. The front desk can be a little more friendlier. The person that checked us in did not say hello the rest of the week. The cleaning staff was very friendly and accomodating. There is no restaurant on site but you can go right across the street to the Magnolia. The food there is ok and the staff is friendly. You can get take out from the buffet.

Room Tip: The middle wrap around balconies seem like the best rooms. The smaller rooms have only one balcony d...

We really enjoy the Anderson. Our only complaint was with the restaraunt across the street, The Magnolia, we found the manager to be quite rude. Won't go there again, the food is not that great, it is just convient to the hotel.

With only one night to spare, we booked last minute. In the register we asked for a high floor, not near elevator, on ocean side...every detail was ready upon arrival. The suite was well appointed, clean, comfortable, and a perfect place to stay. The in house bar was a little disappointing. Great service, but no quality wines. Access to the beach was right at our fingertips. Valet parking was also a blessing. With only one minor exception, service was great...the hospitality/welcome lady could use a little energizing in helping, answering questions...but, we were at the beach. And that makes everything OK. Thank you for a very nice stay.

Room Tip: High floor, ocean side.

Had a great couple days in the penthouse condo for my birthday. The condo was great with a wonderful view. Everyone was nice and very attentive. The bar tender at the pool bar was wonderful, very attentive and very funny. I think she might hav e missed her calling, I think stand up comedy might be in her future.
