Looks nice walking in. That was the first clue. Couple with kid arrived after us and got their ticket before we even received our food. My boyfriend ordered the ribs, all four of them, and they were burnt and bitter. I ordered the crab cakes. They taste like they were previously frozen and were bland with no trace of peppers or any other ingredient besides bread and crab meat. The mixed veggies had onion in it which took over the whole flavor. And too make it all worse the food was way over priced for the amount. Do not recommend and will not return.

My husband and I ate at Fire Island on a Sunday at lunchtime. I ordered one of the specials, a BLC (bacon, lettuce, cucumber) sandwich. It was tasty, but there was far more roll than filling. I have eaten there at night several years ago and ordered some type of shrimp dish with a variety of dipping sauces.
That meal was superior but costly. Very few cars in the parking lot, but considering the summer crowds, you might get seated here without such a long wait. The food is O.K. The decor is cute. I don't think some people know the place is here because it is at the back of Barefoot Landing near the Greg Norman Australian Grille.

The first sign to turn around should have been the restaurant was practically empty when we walked in...we should have walked out.

The drinks are very pricey, as was the food which was at best mediocre.

The couple next to us complained so much about their food the owner comp'ed their meal and they left.

When the tap came we were blown away by how much it was because we didn't eat of drink that much - about $80!!!!!

After out meal, as we were sitting and talking, we realized the staff was cleaning up around us. It was not even 9pm and we asked the owner what time they closed and she said 11pm, but since it was slow, they were closing - which meant we had to leave.

Wow - this place was just bad for sooooooooo many reasons - avoid it!
