Description: Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuelo's offers diners the opportunity to experience real Mexican food, combining authentic, made from scratch classic dishes with the rich, subtle flavors of coastal and interior Mexican cuisine. Our executive Chef Luis Sanchez has spent decades perfecting our menu, and we boast a wide selection of wood-grilled fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, chile rellenos or Abuelo's unique House Specialties (depending on your location). To compliment your meal, our expert bartenders are masters at crafting signature favorites, including a wide variety of margaritas and swirls. Whatever the occasion, we'll stop at nothing to make your time at Abuelo's a memorable dining experience.

First time at Abuelo's- service was good -food was well prepared. Salsa and chips are very tasty. We ordered the chicken and beef enchiladas and it comes with refried beans and rice - just enough to satisfy for dinner!

We make a point to eat at Abuelo's every trip to the beach. This visit the service was still great. The new trio salsa presentation was nice - the tomatillo (green) salsa is fantastic. However, the chips and the entree (ground beef chimi with rice and beans) were just good, but nothing great. "Ho-hum" mexican food is how I felt this trip. We've been spoiled with Chuy's in the Nashville area so Abuelo's food just doesn't quite measure up, but it is still a nice restaurant, good food, great service, and a place that I will return to on another trip.

Very good food. The staff is great. They are taking really good care of their customers. The food is the closest to true authentic Tex-Mex food you will find around Myrtle Beach. It is a very nice atmosphere. Full of locals and everyone was enjoying their meals and service. Great place. Everyone should try it out for themselves.
