Owner description: Surrender to an age of bravery and honor and witness epic battles of steel and steed during our tournament spectacular. From ringside seats, discover a feast for the eyes and appetite. An evening of enchantment and excitement for all ages. Guests are taken back in time and encouraged to cheer for one of six "Knights of the Realm," named after historic regions of medieval Spain, while feasting on a four-course banquet served in true medieval, pre-silverware fashion. The newest production features amazing lighting, costumes, choreography, exciting battle scenes, falconry, new horse dressage elements and a fresh musical score by the world renowned composer Daniel May.

This was our first time experiencing Medieval Times. Things were expensive, but that's with most things when on vacation.

For those who haven't been before, you have to reserve AND pay ahead of time. There are no refunds or credits. That sounds fine until your hotel gives you coupons and you've already reserved your spot. It was very frustrating to call them and they tell you they can't credit you for the difference. Those coupons are all over the place and if you don't know ahead of time, you're SOL. They did upgrade our seats though. She said that would be the equivalent of the discount we would've gotten. It's better than nothing.

The actual experience was amazing though! Dinner and a show...how clever! It's stadium type seating, but we were front row, which was great! There is no silverware, so you eat everything with your hands. That wasn't bad at all. We had soup and bread, chicken, potato wedges, a rib, and an apple cinnamon pastry. The show was great too! Lots of crowd involvement.

All in all I would definitely recommend checking this place out at least once!

Nice show, good food, over all good time. They do get a little carried away with the up selling though.

Medieval Times would be great for families with younger members. The food is actually very good and the show is very entertaining. I would suggest trying to find the tickets on sale since they can get expensive. I would guess that most people only visit once but I think it is completely worth it.

Last went to Medieval Times last Sunday 09/23, the show was great, food was AWESOME! You could tell how much work and effort goes into this show and everyone did a fantastic job. I had high expectations going into the show and was blown away! I will definitely go back next time I am in Myrtle Beach!
