“Really Good”
Reviewed November 22, 2012

Party of 8 visited the Flamingo on our last night in Myrtle, great choice. Our server London was attententive and helpfull. Our meals and appies were exceptional. More than one of us said it was was one of the best meals we had ever had. I had the blackened primre rib 16 oz., one of the best ever, steaks were cooked to perfection, seafood dishes...wow. Will be a redo next year, and hopefully for years after....enjoy

“The BEST Shrimp and Grits!!!”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

Couldn't decide whether to get the Shrimp n Grits or Grouper Oscar - the waitress (Kim) told me that the Shrimp n Grits are always a favorite of her customers so I decided to go with that- it was amazing!!!! The tasso ham was very tasty. The sauce was amazing!! I can't wait to go back....although a long trip from NJ!
My son had the petite prime rib with a low country crab cake- also very good! The She-Crab soup was also very tasty!
Highly recommend you try this restaurant!

“A fun place for a great prime rib dinner”
Reviewed November 1, 2012

This establishment has a fun, funky, retro vibe that fits well with the Myrtle Beach atmosphere. From the flamingo pieces to the pink and green neon and the vintage aperetif wall art and the motorcycles the atmosphere is great. Our server was quick, pleasant and attentive. We both ordered the prime rib, which is available in cuts from 8 oz to 24 oz. It came out perfectly medium rare and very flavorful. It came with a house salad, a large plate of crisp iceberg lettuce with the usual, and a nice, bleu cheese dressing. The sides were garlic mashed potatoes and crisp, sugar spap peas. Jane ordered the 8 0z portion and I the 12 oz; I think they were both rather more than the stated weights. We were so stuffed we were glad we hadn't had appetizers and could only split a raspberry sorbet for dessert.

“Okay meal, but pricey”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

Service was good but the food was just average. The bread, which was described as the best garlic bread ever, was really just a slice of Italian bread toasted with spices. The asparagus was good but not seasoned at all. The red potatoes were really new potatoes that were boiled and again, not seasoned. For the price, I would have expected more imagination with the menu.
