We went to thorneys as our last night in MB as it was a few blocks from where we were staying.
We orderd the potatoe skins and a burger and the large cut of prime rib medium well. The skins were very good half potatoe carved out then filled with bacon and cheese served with ranch and squeeze tube sour cream. The burger came as orderd well done and was tasty. The prime rib, this is where thorneys went down hill quickly it was orderd medium well which in other words cook it. it arrived the first time blood rare and was quickly sent back to the kitchen.15 minutes later it came back same piece of prime rib and this time it was only rare we sent it back again. This time 20 minutes later same piece of prime rib arrived after beeing cooked now three times very tough but cooked to a medium well.I finaly got to eat 20-25 minutes after my spouse had received the burger. The service was good(rachael) but at $28.00+ for the prime rib!! get somebody in the kitchen who can cook beef would be a great asset to this resturant, no compensation was offerd and we paid the bill of 55.00 and left
