We love this place! Tonight we had possibly the best Sauerbraten we've ever had! Also wonderful spaetzle and red cabbage! Followed by an outstanding chocolate mousse cake! Wow! Can't wait till our next visit!

“Fantastic meal !!”
Reviewed April 30, 2014

This place is truly a hidden gem in Myrtle Beach, pretty hard to find in the plaza and you probably won't be able to see it from the road, but once you find it it is all uphill from there, the service is very quick and attentive, the meal comes with a complimentary house salad, everybody in my party had a form on schnitzel and we all really enjoyed them, I myself had the german platter for one and it was a lot of food and very delicious, after finishing our meal the girl was constantly checking up on us and thanking us for coming in, they really appreciate the business they receive here which is nice, will definitely be going back here !

“Top notch”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

Visited for the first time while on vacation. I had the almond crusted veal schnitzel. I also tried a bit of the pork schnitzel my Mom had. Both excellent. Sides were good. Also, the soup of the day was Bavarian cream of barley. One of the best tasting soups I have ever had. Strongly recommend them. Get a reservation, as it is a small intimate sort of place.

“Location hard to find, but well worth the effort....”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

We initially had a problem to find the restaurant, it is hidden behind a strip mall that is being renovated, and we had to circle the place twice before we spotted it ... but it was truly well-worth the effort. We had to wait for a table at lunchtime, but enjoyed chatting with a local couple who highly recommended the place. And they are so right, the food is delicious, service is super and dessert is heavenly. I had the veal wiener schnitzel.. best I had in a long time. My husband ordered the pork shank, he said it was very tasty but could have been cooked a little longer. Desserts are heavenly, the Vienna crepes and apple strudel are special.. I cannot wait to go back to Myrtle Beach and Cafe Old Vienna...thank you for a wonderful authentic meal !

“Great dining experience”
Reviewed April 27, 2014

Our first visit, but it will NOT be our last visit to Cafe Old Vienna! Great meal, great atmosphere and great service. Authentic German menu, and even live guitar music (we were there on a Saturday night). The German Sampler Platter for Two was a great choice for us to try a nice variety.
