You could tell that this was a favorite of the locals. I believe we may have been the only out of towners there. Do yourself a favor and get the lemon cake. Trust me!

“Highlight of Myrtle Beach”
Reviewed March 22, 2014 via mobile

If you want more than an all you can eat buffet and are weary of chain restuarants, you need to try this one. Cafe Old Vienne is truly a Viennese restaurant with the Bavarian flare not all can appreciate. This restaurant is not only good, it is tops. The restaurant is very small but the food quality and service is well worth making a reservation for an exceptional meal. Otherwise you may not get in or have a very long wait. This establishment is not to be missed.

“Gluten Free Menu”
Reviewed March 19, 2014

We went for lunch because we had heard they had a Gluten Free menu in addition to their regular menu. We were happy to find the Gluten Free Menu had lots of choices. We ordered 2 meals from the Gluten Free Menu and both were fabulous. It was the best Bavarian style food we have ever had. We enjoyed it so much we made a reservation for a birthday dinner later in the week. If you are Gluten Free, don't miss this restaurant.

I had the pork osso bocco. the meat was falling off the bone. you also get a choice of red cabbage or sauerkraut, and also get potato pancakes. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

“Loved the food but the restaurant is too small”
Reviewed March 6, 2014

We have experienced the wonderful food here but have not been back since last year. We were seated at a table where we were nearly touching elbows with the next table. We may try it again this year but this restaurant would be amazing if it had more space.
