My wife and I are retired. We have travelled the world and eaten at the 13 top 28 restaurants in the world as rated by Michelin of France. So, our palate has been educated to know the difference of creative genius versus "me too" offerings. We are vacationing at our Timeshare in Myrtle Beach, SC and ate at the Crissants Bistro & Bakery. Our rating was so high, it is now amoung our top 20 best list! The owner Heidi Vukov has completed her dream of creating a unique dining experience. The ambiance, attention to detail, the service, presentation and atmosphere are a surprise. Because the restaurant is on the ground floor of a commercial building "The Beach First Center" on the NE corner of 38th and Grissom Hwy - tel. [--].
The chef's creations are gastronomic wonders from around the globe and equal to the best in the world. The Salade D'Epinard was brillaint ( the best we have eaten anywhere!). The entrees of Bistro Signature Chicken was a Sicilian delight and the Maple Leaf Farms Duck Breast was a return to St. Tropez, France. The Chocolate Truffles were equal to Harrod's of London.
Don't miss this opportunity to have the finest cuisine.

Service was on point - good wine recommendations and appropriately attentive. Food brought back great memories from dining in France - every ingredient fresh and flavorful.
Our server was friendly, had a great sense of humor and was a great part of the whole experience.
Have eaten here several times, each time my wife and I have sampled a different dish, and each time are stunned at how good the food is.
Can't recommend this place highly enough.

We went to Myrtle Beach from April 5-12, 2009. We saw the Bistro as we went to our resort. We went Monday for breakfast, and were quite impressed. We ate all of our breakfasts at this place after the first visit.. The food was mouth watering, and the variety amazing. The service was impeccable and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and gracious. We tried some of the desserts and the were fabulous. We watched people take out their Easter desserts and were disappointed we didn't live closer to take something home. Croissants makes me want to return to Myrtle Beach very soon!!!!!!!!!!

We put down a deposit for a wedding cake in August, 2008. Called in April to check on delivery time of the cake for May wedding. They then gave us a balance due that was $200 higher than what we agreed to and that was because "we had a price increase in January". We then cancelled since now the cake was not in our budget and asked for our deposit back. They will not give it back to us. Heidi, the owner, ignores our phone calls. You would think that for $100, it would be best to keep us happy instead of now having a bad reputation by word of mouth. There are better places to go for a more reasonable price.

Recieved very rude service on the phone when trying to dispute charges on our wedding cake, brides beware, they will rip you off and charge you for things you did not agree with, and without any signatures. They charge a $50.00 consulting fee without a contract, and tried to charge us for a cake without a signed contract. We feel like we were taken advantage of, and no one returned our phone calls, not even the owner, who we asked to speak with several times, she later emailed and said she was busy. On top of that three people I talked to later that the wedding cakes they tasted there were terrible, and the new bakers were not good. Just a warning. not out of frustration, but out of truth.
