“FAV MYRTLE BEACH RESTAURANT!!”
Reviewed January 20, 2014 via mobile

Wife and I come to Myrtle twice a year. We have several restaurants that we rotate, EXCEPT this one! Never a trip without a visit here. The food is always excellent! She crab soup, fried seafood, the trio salad, drink specials, and the hummingbird cake! The ambiance is warm and inviting. Service is wonderful. Love this place!

“RARE FIND!!!”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

Wintering in St James Planation, Southport,NC....it was cold today (34!) and we decided to take a drive to Myrtle Beach to scout golf courses. By 1:00 we were hungry and all we saw were the
main strip fast food type's which we did not want...took a turn onto Ocean Blvd & saw what a appeared to be a charming Cape Cod style house...........from the moment we walked in...we knew we had found the perfect spot! As retired hoteliers...we are extremely selective where we stay & dine........Sea Captain's reflects excellent management...properly trained & attired Staff...pleasant, helpful and not your best friend. Extremely well appointed; tables are not
crammed on top of each other; we were escorted to the summer porch...beautiful views of the dunes & ocean, quality wrought iron chairs & tables. Spotlessly clean throughout...with attentive non obtrusive staff. Our lunch consisted of a bowl of She-Crab Soup...THE best we have ever had; crab quiche with mixed fruit side and a crab casserole with sweet potato fries and, of course, the hushpuppies..........Being from Maine...we know & love fresh seafood....this was a sensational meal ($34.00!!), exceptional service, quality of food, ambiance could not have asked for more. Not to be missed and we will be back.

“Outstanding food, outstanding view of the Atlantic Ocean”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

Everything from the salads to the seafood and in between is excellent. Known for long lines in the summer time, now is a great time for lunch or dinner. You are able to talk and be heard. The service was excellent. We are going back often.

“Thanksgiving Trip”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

The Low Country Crab Casserole is delicious. Crab cakes not bad. The view would have been incredible if the weather was clear. Michele our waitress recommended us to come back fro breakfast for the Crab Cake Benedict. No time on this trip. Sure it was great. If in Myrtle Beach check it out.
