Went to the melting pot for the first time. I wanted to try it for some time now and was in myrtle beach for short trip and tried it with my family.
Unless you like to boil your food in broth dont go for dinner. The meat and fish come to the table raw and you boil it in a pot of broth so everything tastes the same.
The cheese and chocolate fondue were good though.
Very over priced for the poor quality of meats and fish and you have to cook it yourself.
I went for the experience but will not return. dinner was gross imho.

My husband and I have been to our local Melting Pot many times, so when we went on vacation with friends who'd never been we jumped at the opportunity. The Myrtle Beach location was just as good as our Baltimore Melting Pot. Delicious food, friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone looking for a romantic, special-occasion place. Dinner will last at least 2 hours.

Only fondue restaurant in MB area. Very romantic; food is pretty good but definitely overpriced. If you have a big appetite, stay away or expect to spend well over $100!

Not bad, but over-rated

We have vacationed in Myrtle Beach for 6 years in a row and always have a "date night" at The Melting Pot. It is romantic, the food is fantastic and we have never had a problem. We have gone to other Melting Pots and never had a bad experience. We leave for Myrtle Beach next week, and we will our annual "date" there. I never feel rushed, we take our time and truly enjoy the food, so we have lots of room for the YUMMY chocolate fondue, FABULOUS!!!
