We were recommended this place by a family friend who visits the area regularly and knows a lot of the restaurants. I am so glad we went with their recommendation and stuffed ourselves to capacity. From the outside, you would think it's a small restaurant, but once you're inside you'll be amazed by it. The décor is welcoming. We had a 20 minute wait on a Saturday night around 7pm or so. We were seated in a loft area that reminded me of a library or study in someone's house, as we were surrounded by bookshelves. It was comfortable seating and quiet surroundings so you didn't have to yell across the table.
My Mom and I both had the 14oz sirloin cooked to our desired liking and they were the best steaks we had had in a long time. The baked potatoes were cooked to perfection. The salad bar was delicious and well stocked (be mindful that the larger salad plates are at the left of the lettuce, or you can use the smaller bread plates like I did at the end).
The staff was friendly and helpful, keeping drinks filled regularly and making sure everything was as we expected.
