The she crab soup was very good and my chicken pram was also good. The prices were reasonable and there are some nice views. It's a little dated but we enjoyed the dinner.

“Consistently good.”

Our group of 4 has had dinner at Chestnut Hill on several occassions, and the food and service are always excellent. There is a great view of an alligator friendly pond adjacent to the restaurant. With the program we use, an 18% tip is mandatory, which is no problem, if they would do the math correctly. The past two visits, they have figured a tip on the bill that was significantly higher than the 18% our IDC card requires.

“Nice and Friendly”

A wonderful family owned restaurant (not at all like the chains). The staff was excellent. The restaurant was nice and the food fabulous. Our entire experience from start to finish was wonderful. It was a nice place but not formal. The prices varied but everything was worth the price. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

“A recent visit”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013

Every year while in Myrtle beach we made a special trip to Chestnut Hill and always had a good meal!
Not this year! Very disapointed by the food (that we returned) and by the treatment we rec'd.
This has to do with a coupon they advertise in the local paper. We were told it had expired and that the manager did not want to oblige.
We both returned our roast beef (ordered medium/rare) it came well done...while our guest had to eat alone...we ordered something else at that point.
Over all very dispointed and embarrassed in front of our guest!
We complained in writing to the manager and all she offered was a $25. coupon, which we will not use...and will not be back and will not recommend to our friends.
