“Oh, so good.”

The food was really very tasty; we left wondering why we'd never been there before. We'll definitely return. Watch out for the expensive wine list though!

“Nice Anniversary Meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2014

My wife and I had our first experience with Carrabba's while on our anniversary trip. We were very pleased with the quality of the food and service we received. Our waiter was very good. According to our receipt his name was David P. but I'm pretty sure that wasn't the name he introduced himself as.

“What a Difference Two Months Can Make.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2014 via mobile

Two months ago, we tried Carrabba's and were pleasantly surprised by the tasty triggerfish special, friendly staff and management for a chain restaurant on a busy night. As an added bonus, there was no corkage fee. Our next trip down to Myrtle, two months later, we decided to try it again. I called ahead to see if there was still no corkage fee, and, after waiting several minutes for the staff member to check, she cheerily came back with "Still no corkage fee!" That made it a no brainer to bring a bottle to dinner.
We ordered glasses of prosecco to start, and after finishing the prosecco, asked the waitress if she would open our red wine, she curtly replied, "Yes, but you'll have to pay a corkage fee." (As if she was taken aback that we would dare bring our own wine to such a fine dining establishment) When I told her I had called ahead and was told that there was no fee, she said she would have to talk to the manager and left without opening our wine, leaving us nothing to drink with our salads.
The manager came and felt compelled to lecture us in front of all the other diners in our smaller room that they had changed their policy about corkage fees and they would let it slide just this one time but next time we should expect to pay a corkage fee. There will be no next time. It was very embarrassing. He must have had his manager's training at the Dept. of Corrections.
After all this, we had just started our salads and our wine was finally opened when our main course arrived. Salmon dish was average at best and not hot. This was the most unpleasant dining experience we have had in 14 countries.

“dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 8, 2014

We were in Myrtle Beach last spring and went to Carrabbas Grill for dinner and found the food and service excellent . It seems to be very popular for golfers. There is two grills and we went to the one in Myrtle Beach and the other one is in the north section.

“Excellent Food and Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2014 via mobile

Visiting Myrtle Beach from California and not having Carraba's near us in California, we like to go when traveling. We went to the Myrtle Beach restaurant on a busy Friday night, the wait was about 30 minutes but were told the counter stools near the kitchen were first-come, first serve. We found two spots where we were able to watch them prepare the food. I have to say that the cooks and preparers were like machines and you could tell they were passionate about their jobs. Our waiter, Greg was excellent. We had Caesar salads and I had rigatoni with meat sauce and sausage and my wife had the braised spared ribs. Both meals were excellent, although I thought the spare ribs were a bit salty. We sprang for dessert too, I had vanilla ice cream with caramel and glazed pecans and my wife the tiramisu. Delicious with large cups of coffee. Other than the saltiness of the ribs, an excellent meal. We will definitely continue our Carraba's sojourn while on the road.
