We haven't been to Collectors for several years, but I am happy to report that if anything it is better than ever. Nice selection of appetizers and entrees not too many choices but something for every taste bud. Service extremely professional and with the right degree of friendliness, all the servers dressed in the same color adds to the professional feel of the Restaurant. Pleasant surroundings and mouthwatering presentations of food with taste to match. Would come highly reccomended by me.

“Finest kind!”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

Our local (born & raised) aquaintance recommended Collector's Cafe as a great place for a special dinner. We went there for our 37th anniversary, and found it to be as great as he claimed. The restaurant is located in a strip mall, but don't let that put you off in the least. The establishment is an art gallery as well as a restaurant, and all the art is for sale. We had reservations, and were seated promptly. Our waitress was friendly and helpful in explaining the specials as well as answering questions about the menu items. Hot bread with a choice of three spreads, cannelini bean, EVOO and a magnificent, fresh pesto. We split an appetizer of Cuban black bean cakes with a spicy salsa and guacemole - delicious! Jane ordered the duck breast; it came with mashed potatoes with a wine/gorganzola reduction. The duck breast was on a bed of sauteed spinach with garlic. It was everything she expected. I had the fish special, a wonderful grilled grouper with mixed veg and black beans with a spicy remoulade. It was fantastic. We split a nice piece of coconut cake for dessert. The final tab, with tax and tip, came out around $75 apiece; not bad when you consider that the bill also contained a bottle of champagne and the level of cuisine and service. It is possible to have a good meal here for less, but we pulled out all the stops for our anniversary.

“What a treat for the senses!”
Reviewed October 14, 2012

We stumbled upon this place after we had already eaten so we decided on coffee and dessert. I ordered a Monet's Cafe (which had a shot of brandy) and tiramisu. Both were very good! After we finished our coffees we walked around to see the art. It was such a great experience! Usually art galleries at the beach are full of cheesy art catered to tourists but I was really impressed by the wide array of styles and medium here at Collector's Cafe.

The only complaint I had was that I didn't like our server. My boyfriend described her as "distracted", I would go as far to say she was inattentive. She gave the impression that we were bothering her simply by being there at all.

Other than that, the experience was great and if I'm ever in the area again, I will be sure to return!
