Description: 8th Ave Tiki Bar & Grill is a destination like none other in Myrtle beach. We have a full bar with a beer selection over 100 from bottle to tap. We like to say we have the best beer selection on the BEACH! We served "up scale Bar food" with options such as our Buffalo Nachos, Fish Tacos, Schnitzel Sandwich, Boneless Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, OG Philly Cheesesteak those are just some of the items we also have specialty salads for all those healthy eaters, and don't forget about our Signature Skewer or our hand crafted pizzas. Nothing we serve is frozen to fryer, everything is "FRESH" and nothing but top quality for our customers. Make Sure you stop by the Tiki Bar on 8th Ave North and Ocean Blvd. Were it is always happy hour!! GOOD VIBES! GOOD FOOD! GOOD MUSIC! GOOD TIMES!

“Almost 5 star worthy”
Reviewed August 19, 2014

I have no clue how anybody could give this place 1 star. We went tonight with 13 people. The only complaint we had was that the table wasn't ready when we got there. We made the reservations a day in advance, and called on the way there. But it was only about a 5 minute wait.

With 13 people, you can imagine that we had a large variety of foods... And you would be right. And everybody liked or loved their food... We had wings, burgers, nachos, corn dogs, salads, and more. We also had 2 buckets of beer. Oh, and we had the hummus. That was really good, too.

Everybody else who didn't drink beer had iced tea. The bill, with a 22% tip was $245 for the 13 of us. What was nice was that they did not include the tip, even with such a big party..... The bill did list tip percentages, though. I don't know the girl's name, but we had the tall leggy blonde with a small nose ring as a server. She was polite and attentive. Oh, one minor thing..... The food did not all come at the same time. It arrived over a 10 minute period, but as we had 3 apps, nobody was starving by the time all the meals arrived.

Overall, a very solid dinner place if you enjoy pub style foods. Almost 5 stars... When you put it in perspective of it basically being a family friendly pub / restaurant.

This is a fun bar to pop in for some summer cocktails. Service is great and even though I didnt eat food looked good. I would recommend the Summer in USA for a nice fruity cocktail

“Soooooo bad. ”
Reviewed August 12, 2014 via mobile

We strolled in after a ride on the Ripley's 5-D and ..... oh man, I wish we hadn't. It was awful. The service was inattentive and painfully slow. The nachos were rubbery and devoid of any cheese. The kids' drinks were "forgotten." Our server didn't check on us. It was awful.

The only good thing here was the music. And the beer was cold. But if you want a good dining experience on the MB boardwalk, keep walking.
