“Not top notch, but very good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 24, 2014

Hard to find anything wrong, but it definitely is not the best resort I have seen. Myrtle Beach is a forever tourist vacation spot and this what you get here. Great for the golf lover and very accommodating amenities. Food is average but nice because it is quick and easy. Nice deals. We paid $380 for 3 rounds/2 nights, mid March. I wouldn't pay more though. I do recommend to those who live on the east coast and need to free themselves from the snow!

Ended up here with a golf package and it included breakfast, lunch and two beer plus your round and a cart. The food is average. The courses are in great shape and we saw lots of picturesque scenery and wildlife. The marshals were nice and talkative. Pace of play can be long when super busy which happened to us on a Monday. All courses are challenging and fun.

Just came back ( Dec. 12th-15th ) from Legends Resort and thought I died and went to Heaven. All three courses were beautiful and in great shape. The Villa's were clean and spacious and located right behind The Pub ( easy walk for dinner and drinks ). The staff at The Legends was incredible, they treat you like family.Starting with The Pro Shop and bag boys along with the kitchen staff who help get your day started with an incredible breakfast buffet. After playing 18 or 36 holes then you return to your Villa which Housekeeping has cleaned spotlessly. Heaven can wait but I will definitely return to The Legends.

Room Tip: Villas behind Pub are quiet and a short walk to Pub

This place knows how to get return business. The condo are large, bright and clean. Very modern and cater to the golfers with details in mind. The community set up is good with a bar in the middle with a large hot tub out back.
A very good breakfast in the morning in the main building that offers mostly everything with unlimited portions.
The only down side to this place, and it's minor, is that it's not near the downtown or the beach.

We had reservations at Legends Resort from July 11-15, 2013. The property is beautiful but.... When I entered the unit I was met with dirt and dead bugs in the foyer. I immediately grab a broom and started sweeping. Then we unloaded our bags and started looking around. Our unit was not cleaned well. The most sicking thing was (take a seat) we found (bright red) fresh blood on one of our comforters...YUCK!!! I immediately called the front desk and she didn't apologize and just told me to leave house keeping a message. We took all of the comforters off the beds thinking that they would come right over and switch them out....no suck luck. I left house keeping a message and they showed up the next morning with 4 new comforters. The furniture is worn and dingy. I never sat on the couch for that reason. We did spray everything down with lysol. No, I will not return to the property and we checked out a day early. I just didn't feel comfortable.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful but we had teenage neighbors that partied very hard at night and kept us awake for 2 nights in a row. When we told the people at the front desk about it, they said we should contact the police if it happens again. They didn't really seem to care to much or said they would try to handle it. There is a guard at the front gate at night but no staff work at night. The buildings are wood frame so every bit of noise goes through the ceiling. The housekeeping was great and kept everything clean and restocked all the supplies. With all the many other available hotels and accommodations in the Myrtle Beach/Conway area I would look somewhere else. I'd probably play golf here though.

Room Tip: C is a 1st floor room. F is a 2nd floor room.

We flew into Charleston on 6-9, played Caledonia, drove up to the Legends to check into our two 3 bedroom condos. Condos were in good shape and had everything 12 guys would need. We played a Legends course M - F in the morning so we could have our breakfast, lunch and two Bud Lights. Then played another 18 in the afternoon at one of the near by courses. Any question we had was answered, we were treated great, and the Legend courses were all in good shape. The back nine at Oyster Bay had been aerated but the putts still rolled good. For what we were after with 12 guys ranging in handicaps from 2 - 18, this place was perfect.
