Been here 8-9 times now and always had a great time...smiling Rolanda at the front desk checked us in quickly even though we arrived early...very clean ocean front one-bedroom, very sound-proof, air conditioning worked great, full kitchen. Pool and deck areas very clean. Great breakfast with a friendly speedy chef (loved watching him toss those omelettes). Every SeaWatch employee we met (from housekeepers to security guards) were friendly, helpful and courteous. Just a great time...a real top notch resort! We are now planning another trip to SeaWatch for next month. That says it all.

This was a very nice and fun resort. They had plenty of activities and lots of "relaxing time" too. The staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant offered good food and great service. Our only disappointment was the fact that it was closed on Labor Day. Of course they had signs posted that we never read. We would go back again and next time we would participate in the pool games.

PRO’s
- The property sits directly on beach – so views are nice.
- The beach in front of Sea Watch was very clean. No trash around.
- The pools seemed to be very clean as well – but didn’t go in.
- Security personnel were seen throughout day walking property grounds.
- Balcony on room was nice for ocean viewing.

CON’s

Overall hotel/parking/pool area/breakfast

- This place is just too large. Don’t go here expecting a quiet place or easy walk anywhere around the complex.
- Parking in the garage could be difficult for some. The spaces are also very tight. There are multiple levels to the parking garage and eventually you should find a place, but if you are handicapped for any reason, the walk to the elevator could be very long. I didn’t notice very many handicapped parking spaces available either.
- If you happened to park on an upper level and needed to use a luggage cart – first you had to get one on the lower level (if you could find one), go back up the elevator to car level. Unload. Go back down to ground level. Go across the driveway to elevator bank to have access to floor levels and back up to room level.
- Elevators were too few and took very long to get to your floor. They were also extremely dirty – didn’t look like they were cleaned for years. Strange noises came from the elevators, which prompted safety concerns and looking for the elevator license.
- Hallways around building levels to the rooms are not clean. There is trash, dirt and sand everywhere - and it stayed there for days. We noticed a few windows facing the hallways covered with black mold. This could not be seen from the room since the curtain was closed.
- Getting to the beach access was a challenge… you might find yourself in the pool! We did not have to tote large items such as kids, umbrellas, coolers, strollers and found it annoying to jostle between the chairs and the edge of the pool. There are so many pool chairs on the tiny areas of the pool deck which is required to get to the beach access, getting past them was tricky. If other people were coming from the beach, it was worse.
- We brought our own beach chairs/towels – glad we didn’t have that hassle.
- We tried to sit by the pool area to just read, but that was impossible. Because the chairs sit so close to the pool, people were constantly walking by you (and we thought we sat on a non-traffic side). Also, any kids throwing balls in the pool ended up in your lap because of proximity to the pool.
- The day we arrived there was a live DJ playing by the north tower pool. It was so loud and the sound reverberated off the walls throughout the entire complex for hours - we hoped this was not the case for our entire stay. Fortunately, it was just the one day.
- We ate at the breakfast buffet only twice since it came with the room. (We went out the other days). The omelet and waffle stations were the best of the entire buffet because they were made to order. Everything else sat in warming dishes. Two days eating there was enough for us. There are good places in town to eat. If you have to pay for breakfast, I'd leave the grounds and go elsewhere. It was too expensive at $9/pp for what your options were.

The room

- I understand each unit is individually owned and our unit seemed fairly clean, but it could use touch-up work. The bed was pretty comfortable, but the lumpy pillows were horrible. Basic dishes were available and we did not use cooking facilities. The sofa, tables and chairs in the living area seemed fairly new.
- We had a one-bedroom unit and it was small. I would not put more than 2 people in it. The bedroom was at the entry door to the unit. There was a window in the room, but for any privacy reasons, the curtain needed to remain closed which made the room very dark and cave-like.
- The nicest rooms have a bedroom and livingroom both accessing the balcony. If you must stay here – get one of those rooms.
- The walls are very thin. The family next to us returned very late one night and the loud conversations could distinctly be heard in our bedroom. Then someone started the washer and I thought we were in the same room! The dryer was buzzing at 4am....
- Doors needed to be slammed to get them to close due to the deadbolt – imagine doors slamming at all hours of the day…. Need I say more?
- Wifi... E-x-t-r-e-m-e-l-y slow.
- The bathroom was very small. The door either needed to be open or closed. There was no middle ground on this one. Shower was nice and strong – so that’s a good point. Towels were very thin and worn. If you like thick and fluffy – bring your own. No tissues provided either.

---------
The bottom line is we would not stay here again nor would we recommend anyone that we know stay here. The entire place is showing signs of wear and tear. This place fell short of expectations for the price paid. The Embassy Suites Kingston Plantation and Hilton properties are next door (on the beach) and if you need to stay in this area, use those instead.
