I recently wrote a very unfavorable review of this property which I have since had removed. This review will summarize the problems and the resolution that was ultimately arrived at.
When we arrived in September, we had specifically requested room 601 in the Savoy bldg. There were a number of problems associated with this Penthouse suite that were initially being ignored by the staff and which prompted my low rating.
However, once the general manager became involved these problems were addressed in a timely and satisfactory manner. He took the time to meet with me personally and patiently allowed me to share my frustration over the accommodations. He had all of the physical damages cared for, as well as our house keeping issues. He turned a potential lost customer into one who can, once again, recommend this resort.More
