Very pleased. Room comfortable and clean, many amenities. Oceanfront view, balcony. Low noise, great beds, staff and maid very friendly, accommodating. Close proximity to restaurants and attractions, shopping. Excellent pricing/rates, convenient parking on your floor level. It is an older building/hotel but well maintained. Grounds were clean and landscaping was excellent. My first experience here was wonderful. The only complaint was that the lamps beside the beds did not work. I would definitely stay at the Sandcastle again and recommend them to friends and family.

We've never had a bad experience at Sandcastle..Great hotel for the price, good location, great amenities. Love the activities for the week of July 4th, plenty of things to do. Parking garage on the same side as the hotel is a huge plus, no crossing a busy Ocean Blvd. It is an older resort but well maintained and clean. Love the poolside cabana! We've stayed here 2 times, plan to stay again in the future!!

If you want a real place to stay don't stay here. Roaches everywhere. In our bed room. Out side. In our bathroom. Nasty place to stay. Do not even consider staying here. We went to the front desk with concerns of the "Palmetto Bugs" and they just told us that there was nothing they could do about it. Don't waste your brain on this horrid place.

Room Tip: Don't stay here. Stay at Ocean Park Resort instead.

christinalucci13 Thank you for writing a review on our resort. I am very sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. I am not sure who you spoke to at the front desk and apoligize they were not helpful. Palmetto bugs are part of the beach environment but we definetly could have sent someone up to address your concern. It is few and far between that we have issues with any pests but we address them swiftly. Please contact me at the resort if you would please. We have many happy,repeat guests and we want that to include you.

From the moment my grandson & I checked in we were happy with the Sandcastle. Great hotel for the price and a good location. Older resort, but the property was well maintained and found to be very clean. Could use an up-grade with the TV, but wasn't a big deal. The staff was great from the time we checked in to the time we checked out and any requests were met immediately. Loved the idea of the parking being on the level of where your room was. This was the 2nd time I stayed at the Sandcastle and would certainly stay there again in the near future.

The room was average clean and needs to be refurbished. Old bed covers, stains on the furniture, very old rugs. the beds, inside the fridge & microwave, and towels where clean. the remotes, the fridge door handle where dirty. Had to wipe everything down with lysol wipes. dust on the outdated fake plants. the pools and hot tubs where clear so that was a good plus. location with ocean view is their best asset. NO bugs!! I would stay again.

Room Tip: all rooms are ocean front. we had a one bedroom unit on the 9th floor.
