“Great place for fun!”

Family Kingdom is a great place for fun. Not real expensive. If you dont want to ride you dont have to pay to get in. They let the parents ride with kids without the parents having to pay.

The kids love going back year after year. We love the location close to the hotels and walking distance to the beach.

“A great place for the family”
Reviewed April 16, 2013

My son loves it here! They just added a couple of new rides for the whole family to enjoy. If you are in Myrtle Beach and want to ride some rides I would stop here. They also have a combo pass for when the water park is open, great deal you cannot go wrong.

“Pricey, but a fun time.”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

My 12-year-old daughter and I visited this theme park for 1 day. There are rides suitable for every age. I received 26 tickets for $25. Most rides are 3 tickets per person. They have a roller coaster which is 5 tickets per person. Some of the rides look pretty old, however, they're in good operable condition. There are 3 go-kart courses, bumper boats, the scrambler, concessions...the typical carnival attractions. Parking is $5, however, the theme park is within walking distance to most hotels on Ocean Blvd. No long lines. Clean restrooms. Plenty of benches and other seating. Will return to the Family Kingdom during my next Myrtle Beach visit.

“A full afternoon of family fun”
Reviewed April 13, 2013

Our family (two adults, two kids 8 & 2) LOVED Family Kingdom! It was a cold, sunny afternoon, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. We weren't sure our 2-year-old would be able to do very much, so we prepared ourselves to keep her in the stroller for most of the visit. But we were pleasantly surprised that there were several attractions she could ride with either a parent or her older brother. She could even ride the kiddie swings ride by herself- and she loved every minute of her FOUR RIDES on the swings.

We purchased wristbands (unlimited rides) for one adult and the 8-year-old, and just used individual tickets for the other adult and the 2-year-old. It was just more cost effective for our family that way. The park doesn't really have an entrance gate - there are several ways to enter the park, and it is free to walk in. There are ticket booths throughout, where you can purchase tickets and wristbands, as well as tickets for the "premium" rides (i.e. zip-line) that are not included in the wristband.

The facilities were clean and kept in good repair. And the employees were very friendly and helpful. There are food booths available, but we chose to walk to the Friendly's restaurant next door for lunch. There are also carnival-type games (water guns, fishing for prizes, etc.) that cost extra. They take no tickets, just cash. So be prepared - it's like visiting the county fair in that respect.

We enjoyed our afternoon more than we thought we would, and we plan to set aside a day for Family Kingdom during our next Myrtle Beach vacation. Hopefully it will be just as much fun - or even more so - the next time!
