This was interesting-they have a great salad bar with ample variety-you get your plate and serve yourself. Then, when you return, you have a card on the the table at each seat that is red, when you are ready to be served your entree, you turn the card over to green and the servers come and offer you a WIDE variety of dishes-they had steak, chicken, meatballs and spaghetti, risotto and vegetables, swordfish, pasta and shrimp, sausage and peppers, and the list goes on. When you are finished, you can turn the card back to red and the servers will stop coming over.
The servers were friendly and everything was very good, and reasonably priced for what you get.

My wife and I visited on a Sunday night. Service was good, and the gaucho meat service was quite good, but the Italian dishes left something to be desired from my perspective. In comparison to costs of other buffets in the Myrtle Beach area, $20 per plate isn't terribly expensive, but overall I consider it just a somewhat pedestrian dinner.

If you go at 4pm or later, you get the full salad bar and 12 choices of entrees for $19.95, the salad bar itself would actually be enough,$12.95, it offers two hot entrees and a vast assortment of salads, green and pasta, cheeses, fruit...it is the environment where you turn your coaster over when ready for entrees to choose from, wait staff comes around with assorted entrees you can choose from, parmesan pork, steak, marinated chicken legs, chicken carbonara, chicken fettuccine, shrimp fettuccine, pizza.......... a few more to choose from, just turn coaster over when done, we made this our last dinner before going home..........if you go on Thursday nights it is 2 for $25

Absolutely love this place! The food is delicious and plentiful. Love the fun of flipping your card to green when you would like more selections to come by your table and then flip to red when you would like them to stop bringing food selections. it is a really neat dining experience and reasonably priced. Make sure you go there hungry because you can eat as much as you want, for as long as you want!

My (Italian) wife and I were let down with our first visit to Capriz. (I know, every Italian thinks they can cook better). But in this instance, she definitely can.
We went on the last night that they were having a two for one special. We had no liquor and each had a dessert. The bill came to over $50 with a tip.
The service was terrific. The food was average. The best parts of the meal were the salad bar and desserts. We had Cannolis and Tiramisu, which were delicious. The meatballs were hard and the pork was hard and dry.
Overall, the food was average and the service was great. I don’t think we will be going back.

It was great to hear how much you enjoyed the service and hospitality during your experience, but it was very unfortunate to hear your thoughts regarding the quality and taste of your food.
