“Very fun and great effects”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2013

My boyfriend and I decided on this course and were very happy with it. The holes varied in difficulty and the course was fun to navigate. You get to go up on a pirate ship and down through a tunnel. There were also fun effects. There was a cannon with simulated firing. It smoked and then the water surrounding would shoot up to simulate the cannon ball hitting. Overall it was a fun experience and we would go again.

“Great fun and cannon fire too!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013

We hit this on our final night at Myrtle Beach and this was the 8th Mini Golf course we played during our stay, yes we love mini-golf and yes I reviewed all of them here on TA.

First off, there are "pyrotechnics" which consists of a "cannon" (really a flashing light with the sound of a cannon) and then the cannon balls "splash"in the water. (Really air tubes) If you have any little Pirates in your family, they will LOVE this. The cannons fire about every 10 minutes and the random splashes of the cannon balls will definitely disrupt you when you're ready to hit if you're not ready for them. It makes for good fun.

The course itself is well maintained, and we found the fairways to be the slowest of all those we played. This course played more like real greens with a true golf putting feel.. It gives you a lot of control of your putts. Nothing super challenging here, but between the theme, the underground cavern and the cannon fire, it was a fun night of mini-golf.

“Nice Mini Golf”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2013

An older course but well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would go again. They also have sound and water effects. We got caught by surprise when the first one went off, we thought there was a car accident on 17 Business. While there are many courses to choose from in Myrtle Beach, this is worth trying.

“Family Fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013

My family had a great time but with so many mini golf options we will try another place next time. There is a sign upon entering the establishment that the course includes pyrotechnics to simulate cannons and a pirate theme. We did not realize how they would frighten our 7 year old daughter. She eventually came to tolerate is but the first few times she was very scared and was holding on to an adult for the first half of the course. Another concern for some families is that there are many stairs throughout the course.
