I traveled here during winter break with my spouse and four children (ages 1, 2, 11, 13). The Hampton Inn could not have been any better. We got a ocean-view 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite with a kitchenette. The room was perfectly-sized for all of us, was immaculate, and was very reasonably priced.
We're from the Northeast, so the weather was perfect! The kids took dips in four of the five outdoor pools (2 kiddie, 2 lazy, 1 lap), but spent most of their time in the 2 heated indoor pools and 2 Jacuzzis. Most of the outdoor activities in the area were closed, but we found fun doing other things.
Breakfast was delicious, and varied each day during our stay. Fresh cookies in the lobby were a real treat. We saved money by eating lunch in our room, and ate out only for dinner.
I didn't get to check out the spa or the workout room, but both looked very nice.

I would highly recommend the Hampton Inn!

The business center here has a Mac! I thought this was VERY cool. We stayed in a cozy (side view) room w/2 queens. Although we weren't oceanfront, the side view we had was satisfactory. Breakfast the next morning was delightful. The dining area is surrounded by huge glass windows that allow everyone to enjoy the seaside view while dining. I loved the hardwood floors throughout the main floor. There are nice, comfy leather sofas to plop down on in some areas. Customer service was great both at the front desk & while dining. Thank you!

This is not your standard Hampton Inn. Decor fits the beach, room was just what is expected from a Hilton Property and the front desk people went out of there way to help. Highly recommended by this hotel owner.

We are a family of 6 and we really enjoyed our stay. The service was great! We did not care to eat the breakfast ( even though there is a good variety). Pools are great. The Fitness Center could be bigger for the size of the hotel. There was one thing I found to be a bit nerve wrecking was that the front desk staff is not friendly but I wont let that stop us from returning in April! :) Get some friendlier staff!!!!!!!!!!!!

We overnighted here on a road trip through from Washington DC to Charleston SC. Honestly, we'd have loved another couple of nights just to chill out.
We arrived to the most lovely welcome from the team on the front desk - genuinely interested in where we come from (New Zealand) and full of tips on where to eat etc.
The whole hotel foyer is fresh and Cape Cod nautical themed - clearly very recently built or renovated.
Our room was just a standard two queen room, but again very fresh and well appointed. On the advice of other reviewers on Trip Advisor, I'd requested a room in the newer tower block which we got. It was very modern and appeared very new. It was just magic to open the sliding doors and hear the roar of the ocean right outside. Sunrise the next morning was beautiful.
We had a great complimentary breakfast in the large and sunny dining room overlooking the sea.
Also availed ourselves of the inhouse laundry facilities - a huge plus when travelling with family. And the business centre with free internet was great to catch up with emails home.
Had we had more time, we'd have used the indoor heated pool. The pools all looked fabulous and would have been very nice in warmer weather. Being there at the very beginning of January, clearly it was the off-season and the hotel was very quiet. It's hard to say what it would be like in this beach town in summer, but it was certainly a great place for a stopover.
The Hampton Inn and Suites Myrtle Beach/Oceanfront was amazing value for money - we got an extremely nice room, with wonderful service, for a fantastic rate. I highly recommend it!
