Purchased tickets at the resort we were staying at for a 6pm show. Got to PV at about 5:15pm for their Pre-show which is a must do before the show. The pre-show alone was worth the price of admission. It was engaging and entertaining for the entire family.
The show was captivating with fire juggler, acrobats, live animals, mermaids, canon fires, sword fights, games, audience involvement, etc.
The food was good and plentiful with a vegetarian option.
To sum it up- if you've ever been to a Medieval Times show, this show is 50% better.
I highly recommend experiencing this show with your family (loved ones).

At 7 and 9 years old, they were the biggest fans of the attraction - although their parents and grandparents were BOTH pretty surprised that the food was actually really good! We weren' able to finish all the chicken - and were offered a carry-out bag!
The advice when grandma (ME) made the reservations was to arrive a half hour early - so we did. Found out that this was in order to entice the kids to whine for REALLY expensive pirate-related stuff the adults wouldn't purchase for them. Don't come early!!!
The kids enjoyed the show - but it is really pretty pricey for an evening out. Any circus is twice the fun at half the price.
Take them to play miniature golf...

Well my kids saw the billboards which show pirates that resemble those from a certain Disney movie and were dying to see the show. We attended an 8:30 performance as nothing was available at 6:30. This was a bit late for our 2 an 6 year old kids but we wanted to fit this in during our stay. An advanced reservation is a good idea for this show. The show itself was a mix of pirate-themed songs, acrobatics and diving (who knew that pirates were into tumbling and diving?) There was no real plot to the show, but the action kept the kids entertained. The food was average at best: half a chicken, cheese bread, a tiny bit of corn on the cob, mashed potato and a desert pastry. My corn was pretty good but the potatoes had no taste. My children, including my 17 year old and her friend did enjoy the show. If your kids/family enjoy pirates and action filled shows, this may work for you. Don't expect great food or an over the top show.
