“Always something new”

Wonderful thoughtfully planned exhibitions--and superb family days --free for everyone that add so much to the visit experience. Family Days are good for adults as well as children, wide range of activities. Free, donation encouraged when you visit--another thing--one of the best gift shops on the beach--unusual, well-priced items.

“Always Something Interesting To See Here”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

If you're visiting Myrtle Beach, pop into this museum and you'll be glad you did. They change out the exhibits regularly, and there's always something interesting to see. With free admission, there's no reason not to stop by. It is conveniently located and is not far from The Market Common.

“A nice way to spend and hour or two”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

This is a small exhibit, much smaller than you may expect an area of the size of Myrtle to have, but, it's a great way to spend some time. The admission is free, although they do request a donation for entrance. It has two floors, the first floor contains the current collection being shown plus about 10 pieces of the permanent collection on display near the rear of the floor. The upper floor housed the High School Judged show for the local schools. I was actually amazed with the level of talent in the area, my wife was as well, and she being an accomplished artist herself she spoke highly of the display. While we didn't agree with the results of the judging, we did agree that it was time well spent. If you love art, stop by and spend some time away from the hustle & bustle of Myrtle and look at some beautiful art.
